The aim of this article is to analyse the knowledge construction process originated from the interaction among household farmers, technicians na researchers in Northeast Pará, Brasil. For this, the reasons that orient these household farmers fish culture actions are discussed, as well is analysed the factors that supported the knowledge construction and the socialization of new technical subject. A previous understanding concerning the knowledge construction conception orient the analysis.
