DWORAKOWSKI, Luiz Antonio; HARTMANN, Ângela Maria; KAKUNO, Edson Massayuki  y  DORNELES, Pedro Fernando Teixeira. Real time motion graphics by means Arduino platform and PLX-DAQ software. Rev. Bras. Ensino Fís. [online]. 2016, vol.38, n.3, e3503.  Epub 07-Jun-2016. ISSN 1806-1117.  http://dx.doi.org/10.1590/1806-9126-RBEF-2016-0009.

This paper presents an educational tool developed using the Arduino platform with a position sensor and the PLX-DAQ software, which was used in developing a learning experiment suitable for teaching graphics kinematics that was applied to the master's work. The aim was to overcome learning difficulties faced by students of basic education in the construction and interpretation of graphs, like position versus time in the Cartesian coordinate system. We present a detailed description of instrumentation and some results of an implementation carried out with two groups of 1st year of high school, a State school in the city of Candiota / RS. In the implementation, we identified an increase in student performance, which demonstrated certain difficulties in the analysis and interpretation of motion graphics at the beginning of the activity; however, they developed skills in the course of tasks, achieving both qualitative and quantitative results (statistically significant). The students were able to interpret and reproduce motion graphics in real time from the instrumentation proposed in this work.
