This study sought to understand and map the configuration of the relief, regarding the 1º and 2º taxon of the methodology of Ross (1992), in the micro region of Montes Claros, through the application of GIS techniques and orbital's product . In order to promote, through cartographic documents, geomorphological record of the micro region in focus. The results of the overlays of SRTM data and geological data from CPRM were satisfactory since it allowed for the creation of a wide range of information on the study area.
