This work consists on a survey of the of the lichen genera with foliose, fruticose and dimorphic thalli of the Universidade Federal de São Carlos campus, São Carlos municipality, São Paulo State countryside, Brazil. Samples were collected in urban, cerrados (tropical savanna) and riparian wood areas, noting the occurrence of 21 genera. Here we present commented descriptions and an identification key for the genera found.
