Retração do retalho corneano após ceratomileusis "in situ" com laser (LASIK)

RESUMO

Os autores relatam uma complicação da técnica de ceratomileusis ‘in situ” com Laser (LASIK), que se manifestou, após um mês de cirurgia, nos dois olhos de um paciente portador de 10,50 dioptrias de miopia e 40,50 dioptrias de media ceratométrica. A complicação consistiu na retração das bordas do retalho corneano de ambos os olhos, com aparente necrose e invasão epitelial da interface.

SUMMARY

The author describes a complication of LASIK technique that was noticed one month after the surgery in both eyes of a patient with pre-operative 10.5 diopter a myopia and 40.50 diopters of central keratometry. The complication consisted of a shrinkage at the border of both flaps with apparent necrosis and epithelial in growth.
