O autor descreve caso de toxoplasmose do sistema nervoso central em paciente diabético. Revisão da literatura quanto às causas predisponentes que comumente acompanham a toxoplasmose mostra que o diabetes até então não tinha sido relatado em associação com esta doença.

The author describes a case of a central nervous system toxoplasmosis in a diabetic patient. A review of the literature about toxoplasmosis and its predisposing causes was made, and diabetes has not been reported up till now among them.

O autor descreve caso de toxoplasmose do sistema nervoso central em paciente diabético. Revisão da literatura quanto às causas predisponentes que comumente acompanham a toxoplasmose mostra que o diabetes até então não tinha sido relatado em associação com esta doença.

SUMMARY

The author describes a case of a central nervous system toxoplasmosis in a diabetic patient. A review of the literature about toxoplasmosis and its predisposing causes was made, and diabetes has not been reported up till now among them.
