RESUMO

É descrito um caso de saída, pela vagina, do catéter de derivação ventrículo-peritoneal. A possível causa e as consequências são discutidas.


SUMMARY

Report of a case with vaginal perforation by the catheter following a ventri-culoperitoneal shunt. The possible causative factor and results observed are discussed.
