Cefaléia por hipotensão do líquido cefalorraquidiano é condição frequente na prática clínica. O diagnóstico e o tratamento não oferecem dificuldades. O autor descreve um caso com a forma espontânea da síndrome e discute aspectos clínicos e fisiopatológicos.

RESUMO

Cefaléia por hipotensão do líquido cefalorraquidiano é condição frequente na prática clínica. O diagnóstico e o tratamento não oferecem dificuldades. O autor descreve um caso com a forma espontânea da síndrome e discute aspectos clínicos e fisiopatológicos.

SUMMARY

Headache associated with low spinal fluid pressure is a common clinical feature of ease management. The author reports a case with spontaneous cerebrospinal fluid hypotension, and discuss clinical aspects and pathophysiological mechanisms of this entity.
