SUMMARY

Micronutrient problems in Irish Potato crops under field conditions were studied in the region of the Paraíba Valley, State of São Paulo.

Results of three trials have shown an average increase of 64% in tuber yield due to minor elements when added to a complete (NPK) fertilizer formula, as check. A type of leaf roll occurring in potato in that region has not been observed and this apparently is due to lack of such micronutrients in the soil.
