SUMMARY
In this paper the authors report on the results obtained with the clones RRI-600 and Fx-25, by the Morris-Mann test. The rubber trees, with ten years of age, are planted at the Experiment Station "Vale do Ribeira" located 24° 35' south, in the coastal region of the State of São Paulo.
The vegetative development was considered good for all plants but the rubber production varied very much among the clones RRI-600 and Fx-25.
According to the results obtained the authors think it possible to obtain, in that region, small plantations of rubber trees in spite of being susceptible to Microcyclus ulei (P. Henn.) V. Arx.
