SUMMARY
Cuttings of Dendrocalamus giganteus were treated with glucose and naphthalene acetic acid solutions and planted in five different substrates. The results showed that the substrates did not affect the rooting, but the treatment with 0.2% and 0.4% glucose solutions reduced the rooting percentage. The treatment with 0.05% naphthalene acetic acid solution did not affect the rooting.
