O uso de catéter heparinizado em hospitais de Belo Horizonte

Resumos

Estudou-se a técnica de utilização do catéter heparinizado, através de entrevistas com profissionais da enfermagem encarregados da administração de drogas em hospitais de Belo Horizonte, incluindo concentração da diluição, volume injetado, destino do restante da solução, existência de padronização e conhecimento a respeito de indicação e contra indicação. Verificou- se que há pouco conhecimento referente às situações em que o uso do catéter heparinizado é indicado e contraindicado assim como a falta de padronização e embasamento científico.

We studied the methods of a heparinized catheter utilization, through intervening nursing staff in charge on drugs administration, in hospitals located in the city of Belo Horizonte, including the concentration of the dilution, the administered volume, the destination of the rest of the solution, the existence of a padronization and the knowledge about the indication and contraindication for the use of this drug. We verified that there is little knowledge concerning the situations in which the utilization of a heparinized catheter is indicated and contraindicated, as well as a lack of a padronization and of a scientific fundament.

RESUMO

Estudou-se a técnica de utilização do catéter heparinizado, através de entrevistas com profissionais da enfermagem encarregados da administração de drogas em hospitais de Belo Horizonte, incluindo concentração da diluição, volume injetado, destino do restante da solução, existência de padronização e conhecimento a respeito de indicação e contra indicação. Verificou- se que há pouco conhecimento referente às situações em que o uso do catéter heparinizado é indicado e contraindicado assim como a falta de padronização e embasamento científico.

ABSTRACT
