RESUMO

A autora aborda o conhecimento teórico na enfermagem, focaliza algumas publicações consideradas importantes sobre o mesmo e tece considerações sobre modelos conceituais e teorias como referencial para atuação profissional.

ABSTRACT

The author approaches the theoretical knowledge in nursing, bringing into focus some main works published on the theme and makes comments about conceptual framework and theories as a frame of reference for professional action.
