EDITOR'S LETTER

Dearest,

Horticultura Brasileira, volume 29, number 3, is ready! In our cover, another product of high, in this case, very high added-value: edible flowers, which, as very well presented on the cover article, add a chéf touch even to the most unpretentious salad.

A clarification is needed: the General Assembly of the Brazilian Association of Horticulture - ABH, in session at the last Brazilian Conference of Vegetable Sciences (our compliments to its Organizing Committee), decided that the article processing fee in Horticultura Brasileira must equals half of the ABH annual fee, i.e., in 2011, US$ 50.00 or E$ 40.00. Similarly, the broad processing fee, used by those who are not affiliated to ABH or who are not current on their annuity, now values the equivalent of adding membership, annual and processing fees, which at current prices amounts to U$ 185.00 or E$ 150.00.

I would like also to welcome the ABH new board, which started its term also in Viçosa. While we appreciate their confidence in the Editorial Board of Horticultura Brasileira, which was kept ahead of the journal, I reiterate our willingness to continue serving our Association with dedication and tenacity. You can keep on counting on us!

Finally, we could not go without giving a very special and huge thanks to the previous ABH board. Throughout their six-year tenure, they have never stopped honoring and working for Horticultura Brasileira. The journal is very much indebted to your commitment!

See you in the next issue,

Paulo Melo, editor in chief
