Resumos
O presente artigo traz informações relevantes sobre os trabalhos desenvolvidos durante a última Sessão de Nomenclatura da International Association for Plant Taxonomy (IAPT), realizada na cidade de St. Louis, Missouri, EUA, no período de 23-30/julho/1999. São também apresentados comentários sobre algumas propostas (tanto rejeitadas quanto aceitas) para modificação do Código Internacional de Nomenclatura Botânica. Apresenta-se relação dos membros da próxima Diretoria Executiva da IAPT e dos membros dos seus diferentes comitês de trabalho, inclusive o Comitê Editorial do novo Código (Código de St. Louis).

This paper presents relevant information on some important topics discussed during the Nomenclature Section of the International Association for Plant Taxonomy (IAPT), held from July, 23-30, 1999, in St. Louis, Missouri (USA). Comments are made on some proposals (both accepted and rejected) to modify the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature. A list of all the members of the IAPT board and officials, as well as all the members of the diferent committees, including the Editorial Committee of the new Code (St. Louis Code) are also presented.
