This is the fourth issue of volume 23 of G&P, covering all the articles published in English and Portuguese, as per the Editorial Policy presented in 2015. This time we are inaugurating the internationalization process of our periodic, that from now on counts on both the international and national associated editors. Together they will go ahead with the coordination process of not only submitting the works but also improving the quality of our scientific periodic in all the areas – work strategy and organization, operational research and quantitative methods, quality, planning and production and logistic control. Thus, G&P magazine intends to highlight its authors’ publications worldwide. The electronic publication of the periodic in the English language will facilitate this goal. However, G&P will keep the submitting process in the same way, accepting the works in Portuguese and, for the approved ones, subsequently request the version of the work in the English language. G&P magazine reiterates the commitment of keeping the publications in the Portuguese language while expanding or facilitating the scope of the works for international scientists by publishing them in the English language.
The fourth issue of volume 23 of Gestão & Produção magazine comprises articles distributed among the areas of work strategy and organization, operational research and quantitative methods, quality, production and logistics planning and control. This issue compiles fifteen articles from authors coming from sixteen educational, research and extension institutions from Brazil and abroad.
