Scientific publications - more quickly and easily accessible in the new millennium
In 1995, The Journal of Venomous Animals and Toxins was launched to make scientific publications on Toxinology more quickly and easily accessible.
In 1997, abstracts of papers were made available at http//www.cevap.org.br, The Virtual Center on Toxinology. This site has been updated to include pages on Medical and Veterinary Emergencies.
In 1998, the SciELO Project, the first Brazilian virtual library at http://www.scielo.br, included all the back issues of the Journal on its site.
We are now launching a new initiative for scientific publications. All papers in the process of being submitted for publication will be made available at http://www.cevap.org.br without peer review, and with the full consent of and under the full responsibility of the authors.
We would like to ask all the members of The Brazilian and The International Society on Toxinology to send their email addresses to cevap@botunet.com.br so we can keep you updated.
