Errata

The article Translation and Cross-Cultural Adaptation of Modified Hip Outcome Tool (MHOT), by the authors Giancarlo Cavalli Polesello; Guilherme Finardi Godoy; Christiano Augusto de Castro Trindade; Marcelo Cavalheiro de Queiroz; Emerson Honda; Nelson Keiske Ono, published in the Acta Ortopédica Brasileira journal, Volume 20, number 2, 2012, pages 88-92, contained a technical error concerning the publication. Alterations by the original author of the MHOT questionnaires occurred this year, both in the formatting of the questionnaires and in the simplification of the short version, going from 14 questions to 12. The questionnaire now with international scope has its name changed from Mahorn Hip Outcome Tool (MHOT) to International Hip Outcome Tool (iHOT). Therefore the correct title of the article is Translation and Cross-Cultural Adaptation of the International Hip Outcome Tool (iHOT) into Portuguese.

Where MHOT appears in the text, the correct term is iHOT; where 14/33 appears, the correct number is 12/33; MHOT questionnaire of 14 to 33 questions should be replaced by iHOT questionnaire of 12 to 33.
