Editor's letter
This edition of the DIREITO GV LAW REVIEW brings together articles about various issues that come from seven Brazilian states and three foreign countries Argentina, Chile and Portugal.
The articles address legal theory issues, private law, commercial law, constitutional law and international law, always from a critical perspective and showing concern for empirical analysis and insightful theoretical revisions.
In its tenth year of existence, the DIREITO GV LAW REVIEW keeps following its mission of selecting articles of excellence from all over the country and from abroad with the aim of offering its readers a collection of texts representative of what is best in legal scholarship.
Since its first edition, this publication has focused its attention on papers capable of advancing the frontier of knowledge about the law, favoring those that do not only talk about the daily professional practice and seek to establish dialogue with other areas of the humanities.
In the last ten years it has been remarkable to see the growth of the intellectual production on law in Brazil,which has increased the competitiveness to publish in this journal that receives more and higher quality articles.
It is a great satisfaction for our team to have the opportunity to watch this process unfold from a privileged point of view and to be able to contribute to it, albeit modestly.
DIREITO GV LAW REVIEW reaffirms its commitment to impartiality in the selection of articles, its belief in an open academic dialogue with its authors and reviewers and in its national and international calling. Carrying out these procedures consistently, the journal expects to continue to have the confidence of the legal academic community to convey its work in a qualified manner.
