Este artigo apresenta um estudo teórico comparativo da pedagogia desenvolvida por Friedrich Froebel e da teoria da atividade (Leontiev, Elkonin e Vigotski) no que diz respeito ao jogo e ao desenvolvimento infantil. Ainda que essas duas abordagens considerem o jogo uma atividade muito importante no desenvolvimento da criança, elas diferem em sua visão do que seja o significado do jogo no contexto do processo de formação do indivíduo. Essa divergência é uma conseqüência de suas opostas concepções acerca da relação entre a natureza humana e a história.

This article presents a theoretical comparative study of the pedagogy developed by Friedrich Froebel versus activity theory (Leontyev, Elkonin and Vygotsky) concerning play and child development. While both approaches consider play as a very important activity in a child's development, they differ in their view of the meaning of play within the context of the individual formation process. This divergence is a consequence of opposing conceptions of the relationship between human nature and history.

A contribuição teórica de Leontiev convida-nos a superarmos a concepção naturalizante do ser humano no campo da psicologia. Esse avanço se torna possível se compreendermos o psiquismo humano como algo que se desenvolve por meio do processo de inserção do indivíduo na cultura e nas relações sociais. Este artigo se constitui numa análise crítica de publicações psicológicas sobre adolescência destinadas a pais e professores. Trabalhos que em psicologia focalizam o tema da adolescência tendem a ser especialmente caracterizados pela adoção da abordagem naturalizante. As conseqüências sociais dessa perspectiva são tomadas como critério para a exigência da crítica à própria perspectiva.

Leontyev's theoretical approach invites us to go beyond the naturalistic conception of the human being in the field of psychology. This progress is possible if we understand the human mind as something that develops through the insertion process of the individual into culture and the social relations. This paper is a critical analysis of psychological publications on adolescence directed to parents and teachers. Writings in psychology that focus on adolescence tend to be greatly influenced by the naturalistic approach. The social consequences of this tendency point to the need for a critique.

Neste artigo são analisados três aspectos da psicologia de A. N. Leontiev e suas implicações para a reflexão sobre a educação na atualidade: a diferença entre a formação do indivíduo humano e a ontogênese animal; a relação entre a estrutura da consciência e a estrutura da atividade; e, por fim, a questão da alienação como um fenômeno social e histórico.

In this paper, the implications of Leontyev's psychology on the current educational practices are analyzed highlighting three main areas of focus: human individual development and its differences from animal ontogenesis; the relations between the structure of consciousness and that of activity; and the social and historical phenomenon of alienation.

Este estudo se propõe a analisar algumas contribuições da psicologia de Leontiev, Elkonin e Vigotski no campo da psicologia do desenvolvimento, mais especificamente a questão da periodização da ontogênese humana. Leontiev e Elkonin, seguindo a linha sócio-histórica ou histórico-cultural iniciada por Vigotski, desenvolveram as bases de uma psicologia do desenvolvimento que superasse o enfoque naturalizante tão forte nesse campo. Segundo eles cada período do desenvolvimento individual humano é caracterizado por uma atividade principal, ou atividade dominante, a partir da qual se estruturam as relações do indivíduo com a realidade social. São analisados também os períodos que Leontiev e Elkonin detectaram no desenvolvimento dos indivíduos nas condições sociais da USSR.

This study analyses certain contributions by Leontyev, Elkonin and Vigostky in the area of Developmental Psychology, more particularly the stages of human ontogenesis. Adopting the social-historical/historical-cultural approach initiated by Vygotsky, Leontyev and Elkonin formulated the basis for a Developmental Psychology that endeavored to surpass the naturalistic approach that prevailed in this field. According to these authors, each stage of the process of development is characterized by a leading activity from which stems the relationship between the individual and their social reality. This study also analyzes the stages of the individual development Leontyev and Elkonin observed under the social conditions of the USSR.

Este artigo analisa o processo de formação da personalidade a partir da perspectiva do materialismo histórico e dialético. Esse processo ocorre em interação com as condições sociais objetivas da vida do indivíduo. Somente por meio da análise das alienadas relações sociais capitalistas é possível compreender-se a construção da subjetividade na sociedade contemporânea. Baseado nas contribuições teóricas de Lucien Sève e Aleksei N. Leontiev, este artigo formula uma análise crítica das abordagens que conceituam a personalidade como algo existente independentemente das atividades sociais. Essa análise do papel que as relações sociais desempenham na formação da personalidade é fundamental se se pretende descobrir maneiras concretas pelas quais a sociedade pode promover o máximo desenvolvimento de cada indivíduo.

This paper analyses the process of personality formation from the perspective of historical and dialectical materialism. This process occurs in interaction with the social objective conditions of the individual's life. Only through the analysis of the alienated capitalist social relations is it possible to understand the construction of subjectivity in our contemporary society. Based on the theoretical contributions of Lucien Sève and Aleksei N. Leontyev in the field of Psychology of Personality, this paper formulates a criticism of the approaches that conceptualize personality as something that exists independently of the social activities. This analysis of the role played by the social relations in personality formation is fundamental if one intends to work out the concrete ways in which a society can promote the optimum development of each individual.

Este trabalho pretende apontar algumas aproximações entre a psicologia de Leontiev e a teoria da vida cotidiana de Agnes Heller, mais precisamente aquilo que a filósofa húngara denomina como formas de pensamento, sentimento e ação típicas da cotidianidade. Nossa hipótese é a de que esse estudo pode trazer contribuições para a psicologia sócio-histórica, especialmente no que se refere à compreensão das características do psiquismo humano numa sociedade marcada por processos de alienação, isto é, quando a estrutura da vida cotidiana cerceia o desenvolvimento intelectual, afetivo e moral dos indivíduos. Pretendemos, assim, contribuir para o entendimento daquilo que denominamos de "psiquismo cotidiano".

This work proposes to highlight some links between the psychology of A. N. Leontyev and the philosophical theory of everyday life of Agnes Heller - more precisely what she called the forms of thought, feeling and action that are typical of everyday life. Our hypothesis is that this kind of analysis should contribute to a social-historical psychology, especially when it comes to understanding certain features of the human psyche within an alienating society, that is, when the structure of everyday life limits the individual's intellectual, affective and moral development. Through this paper, the author strives to contribute to an understanding of what could be called an "everyday psyche".
