Esta investigação examinou as relações entre papéis sexuais, ajustamento conjugal e emocional de mulheres no período de gravidez da transição para a parentalidade. Participaram 135 mulheres recrutadas na rede pública de saúde (SUS). As gestantes estavam esperando os seus primeiros filhos e coabitavam com seus parceiros, independentemente de serem formalmente casadas. Os instrumentos utilizados foram o Bem Sex-Role Inventory (Bem, 1974), a Dyadic Adjustment Scale (Spanier, 1976) e a Escala Fatorial de Neuroticismo (Hutz & Nunes, 2001). A coleta foi individual e, em geral, os instrumentos foram preenchidos na presença do entrevistador. Um número pequeno de questionários foi respondido no domicílio dos sujeitos e, posteriormente, devolvido aos pesquisadores. Os resultados mostraram relações significativas entre Papéis Sexuais e Ajustamento Conjugal. Os dados são discutidos à luz da Teoria de Esquema de Gênero e do conhecimento produzido na linha de pesquisa da transição para a parentalidade.

The present investigation examined the relationship between sexual roles and pregnant women marital and emotional adjustment on the transition to parenthood. A hundred thirty three women participants were recruited from the public health care network in southern Brazil. The participants lived together with their partners and they were waiting for their first son or daughter. The tests used were the Bem Sex-Role Inventory (Bem, 1974), the Dyadic Adjustment Scale (Spanier, 1976) and the Neuroticism Factor Scale (Hutz & Nunes, 2001). The data collection was individual and, in several cases, they fill the instruments in an interviewer presence. In a small amount of cases, participants responded to the instruments at home and later they returned them to the researcher. The results showed significant relationships between sex roles and marital adjustment. The results are discussed based on gender theories and on the international research on the transition to parenthood results.

A relação entre atividade física e insatisfação corporal é pouco explorada na literatura. Foi examinada a insatisfação corporal em relação com o nível de atividade física em estudantes adolescentes de escolas públicas de Florianópolis. A amostra foi de 242 estudantes, 109 meninos (14,6±2,8 anos) e 133 meninas (14,3±3 anos). Os instrumentos utilizados foram: questionário de atividades físicas habituais e escala de percepção de silhueta corporal. Quarenta e três por cento dos meninos e 29,4% das meninas são pouco ativos. Sessenta e nove por cento dos meninos e 76,7% das meninas estão insatisfeitos com sua silhueta corporal. Os meninos demonstram uma tendência em aumentar e diminuir sua silhueta, enquanto as meninas demonstram querer diminuir. Não foi encontrada relação entre satisfação com a silhueta corporal e nível de atividade física habitual. Investigar a relação entre atividade física e insatisfação corporal pode auxiliar em pesquisas futuras que verifiquem intervenções terapêuticas com atividade física no tratamento da insatisfação corporal.

The relationship between physical activity and body dissatisfaction is little explored in literature. It was examined the body dissatisfaction and physical activity relationship among adolescents students of public schools from Florianópolis, Brazil. The sample was composed by 242 students, 109 boys (14,6±2,8 years) and 138 girls (14,3±3 years). The instruments used were a habitual physical activities questionnaire and a body silhouette's scale. Forty three per cent of girls and 29,4% of boys are insufficiently active. Sixty nine per cent of the boys and 76,7% of the girls are unsatisfied with their body silhouette. Boys demonstrate a tendency of both increase and decrease their body silhouette, while girls demonstrate a tendency to decrease their body silhouette. No association was found between satisfaction with body silhoutte and habitual physical activity status. To investigate the relationship between physical activity and body dissatisfaction can be useful for future research that could be verified in the therapeutical interventions with physical activity for the body dissatisfaction treatment.

Por meio das abordagens sistêmica e psicossocial, o presente estudo tem como objetivo descrever e discutir a relação entre os níveis de dependência relacional das drogas e a prática de atos infracionais entre os jovens, na perspectiva do adolescente em conflito com a lei. As informações foram coletadas por entrevistas semi-estruturadas, aplicadas em 29 adolescentes, autores de infração, da Vara da Infância e Juventude de Brasília. O método de análise refere-se à análise de conteúdo do tipo construtivo-interpretativo. Os resultados apontam várias conexões entre os níveis de dependência relacional das drogas (efeitos, crenças, relações afetivas, pares, provedores, fornecedores) e a prática de infrações. Os diferentes níveis de dependência identificados na voz dos adolescentes mostram a multiplicidade e complexidade das relações entre a drogadição e a prática de atos infracionais entre jovens e, portanto, a necessidade de um trabalho de intervenção em rede.

Through systemic and psychosocial approaches, this study has the objective to describe and discuss the relation among the levels of relationary dependence of drugs and the practice of infractional acts among the youngsters, in the perspective of the adolescent in conflict with law. The information had been collected through half-structuralized interviews, applied to 29 adolescents, authors of infraction, from the Infancy and Youth Jurisdiction of Brasilia. The analysis method refers to the content analysis of the constructive-interpretative type. The results point to many connections among the levels of relationary dependence of drugs (effects, beliefs, affective relations, peers, purveyors and suppliers) and the practice of infractions. The different identified levels of dependence in the adolescents' voice show the multiplicity and complexity of the relations between drug addiction and the practice of infractional acts among youngsters and, therefore, the necessity of a work intervention in net.

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo aprofundar os conhecimentos na interface Psicologia/Direito, envolvendo uma situação de violência intrafamiliar. Buscou-se conhecer as reflexões dos vários atores que participaram das decisões referentes a um processo sobre abuso sexual cometido pelo pai contra duas filhas crianças. O contexto foi uma Vara Criminal e o método o de estudo de caso. A análise dos resultados seguiu a orientação da Hermenêutica de Profundidade. Os resultados foram discutidos segundo três eixos de compreensão da função do estudo psicossocial forense: A quem serve? Quando deve ser realizado? E o que subsidia o processo judicial: o laudo ou o relatório? Concluímos que é necessário promover a interação entre os vários atores que complementam suas decisões, para que se possa ampliar a compreensão da realidade que cerca as situações de violência na família, e assim o contexto judicial participar na promoção da cidadania nesses casos.

This research aimed at deepen knowledge in the Psychology/Law interface, involving an intrafamiliar violence situation. We tried to know the way of thinking of the various actors who participated in the decisions related to a process of sexual abuse committed by a father against two daughters. The context was a criminal court and the method was the case study. The analysis of the results followed the guidelines of the In-Depth Hermeneutics. The results were discussed in accordance with three sets of comprehension of the forensic psychosocial study function: To whom it serves? , When it must be made? And what subsidizes the judicial process: the evaluation report or the study? We came to the conclusion that it is necessary to promote the interaction among the various actors who complement their decisions in order to increase the comprehension of the reality surrounding the situations of familiar violence so that the judicial context may participate in the promotion of citizenship in these cases.

Neste trabalho, explora-se o modo como a compreensão e o desempenho dos papéis de gênero se relacionam às ocorrências de violência (física, psicológica e sexual) dos maridos contra as esposas. Quatro mulheres que apresentaram queixa na Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher contra as agressões físicas perpetradas por seus parceiros e que conviviam com eles foram entrevistadas utilizando-se um roteiro de entrevista, que recolheu dados pessoais e informações a respeito das concepções sobre homem, mulher e relacionamento conjugal/afetivo. As entrevistas foram processadas pelo software Alceste, sendo a Análise de Conteúdo utilizada para complementar a análise. Os dados revelam a coexistência de concepções tradicionais de gênero com ações de insubordinação dessas mulheres (trabalho assalariado, amizades, questionamento da vida sexual). Esses aspectos, sinalizadores do empoderamento das mulheres, relacionam-se à agressividade dos parceiros que, excluídos dos debates feministas e buscando proteger sua masculinidade, usam a violência para suprimir as manifestações femininas de poder.

On this article, the effects of gendering conception and gender roles practices on violence (physical, psychological and sexual) against spouses are explored. Four women that had registered declaration of suffering physical abuse from their partners and that still live with them were interview based on a script with search for personal data and information about marital relationship, men and women conceptions. Interviews were submitted to Alceste software, that was the Content Analysis used as a complementary method analysis. Data show that gendering traditional conceptions and insubordination acts share places (such as paid work, friendships, and judgments about sexual life). These aspects, signal of women empowerment, are related to partners' aggressiveness, which were excluded of feminist debates and are trying to protect their masculinity by using violence to suppress feminine manifestations of power.

O artigo apresenta os estudos de uma investigação atual entre 75 adolescentes de 12 a 15 anos, estudantes de colégios particulares da cidade de Campinas, que tem como principal objetivo constatar a possível correspondência entre os julgamentos morais e as representações que os sujeitos têm de si mesmos. A partir de um questionário, os estudos destacam as representações desses sujeitos e respondem a um questionamento de que teriam um caráter ético ou não e se corresponderiam a seus julgamentos morais. Os resultados apontam para uma correspondência entre aqueles cujas representações de si são caracterizadas por conteúdos éticos e julgamentos mais evoluídos quanto à sensibilidade aos sentimentos dos personagens envolvidos nas situações descritas. Tais estudos validam a intenção deste artigo de discutir as correspondências entre ética (como o sujeito se vê) e moral (como julga as situações morais).

The article presents studies of a current investigation among 75 adolescents from 12 to 15 years old, students of private schools of Campinas city, that have as main objective to notice a possible correspondence among the moral judgments and the representation that individuals have about themselves. From a questionnaire, the studies bring out the representations of these individuals and answer a questioning if they would have an ethical character or not and if these individuals would correspond to their moral judgments. The results point out to a correspondence among those whose self representations are characterized by more evolved ethical contents and judgments related to sensitivity and to the characters feelings involved in the situations described. Such studies validate the intention of this article to discuss the correspondences between ethics (how the individual sees himself/herself) and moral (how he/she judges the situations moral).

O autor propõe trabalhar, a partir de uma aproximação grupal-familiar, as condições sobre as quais se estabelece, no plano de funcionamentos psíquicos, a dinâmica familiar. A partir da noção de posição depressiva familiar defendida pelo autor (Roman, 1999), se tratará de apreender a especificidade da economia psíquica do grupo familiar. Se o método projetivo autoriza uma aproximação do funcionamento psíquico de cada membro da família, torna-se pertinente, então, colocar em perspectiva as produções projetivas no seio da família a fim de especificar a especificidade da configuração da posição depressiva familiar. A apresentação de uma situação clínica permite ilustrar as proposições teóricas e metodológicas contidas neste artigo.

L'auteur propose de mettre au travail, à partir d'une approche groupale-familiale, les conditions dans lesquelles s'établit, au plan des fonctionnements psychiques, la dynamique familiale. A partir de la notion de position dépressive familiale défendue par l'auteur (Roman, 1999), il s'agira d'appréhender la spécificité de l'économie psychique du groupe familiale. Si la méthode projective autorise une approche du fonctionnement psychique de chaque membre de la famille, il apparaît tout à fait pertinent de mettre en perspective les productions projectives au sein de la famille afin de spécifier la spécificité de la configuration de la position dépressive familiale. La présentation d'une situation clinique permet d'illustrer les propositions théoriques et méthodologiques contenues dans cet article.

The author suggests to work with a groupal-family approach and with the conditions that the psychical family dynamic are based on. To start with, the family depressive position theory, defended by the author (Roman, 1999), shows groupal-family psychical economy specificities. If the projective method allows a closer view to the family depressive position configuration, thus, it will be important to come up with the projective perspective in the family, in order to specify the specificities of the depressive family configuration. The presentation of a clinical situation illustrates the theoretical and methodological propositions that are shown in this article.

Neste artigo, relata-se uma pesquisa sobre a (re)apropriação do espaço pelos moradores nativos da comunidade pesqueira de Ibiraquera, situada no município de Imbituba, ao sul de Santa Catarina, dada a recente e gradativa ocupação do local por turistas brasileiros e estrangeiros. Com o foco na compreensão desse processo, considerou-se a produção da subjetividade daqueles sujeitos segundo a perspectiva da Psicologia Ambiental. Para essa abordagem qualitativa, procedeu-se a um estudo de caso, contemplando uma amostra de 10 moradores pertencentes a famílias tradicionais. A principal técnica empregada para a coleta de dados consistiu na realização de entrevistas informais, visando ao relato de suas histórias de vida. As principais categorias de análise foram a auto-estima e o sentimento de pertença, uma vez que se constatou que a referida "invasão" vem interferindo na auto-estima dos nativos daquela comunidade, mas, ao mesmo tempo, reforçando seu sentimento de pertença e amor pelo lugar.

In this article, it will be reported a research into the process of space (re)appropriation by native inhabitants in a fishing community, Ibiraquera, located in the city of Imbutiba, in the south of Santa Catarina, since the place has been recently and gradually occupied by Brazilian and foreign tourists. In order to understand this process, the construction of subjects' subjectivity was analyzed within an Environmental Psychology perspective and the main goal was to understand this process of appropriation. The empirical data came from 10 inhabitants' narratives about their life stories that were collected by informal interviews. Those inhabitants belong to traditional families from the place. The main categories analyzed were self-esteem and affectedness. The results showed that the "invasion" of Ibiraquera has been causing a very unpleasant feeling of low self-esteem in its native inhabitants. On the other hand, the native inhabitants also show a strong feeling of love and identity to the place where they belong.

A concepção de saúde inclui bem-estar como um conceito chave. Em decorrência, encontram-se na literatura diferentes proposições teóricas para bem-estar. Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar duas visões tradicionais e uma concepção nova sobre bem-estar. Inicialmente, são revisadas as bases teóricas que sustentam o bem-estar subjetivo. As concepções sobre bem-estar psicológico, ancoradas nas teorias que desenharam os primórdios da psicologia positiva, são apresentadas na segunda seção. Na seqüência, o conceito de bem-estar no trabalho é formulado apontando-se seus componentes assentados em vínculos positivos com o trabalho e com a organização. Na seção que encerra o artigo, sugere-se uma articulação, com base nas proposições da psicologia positiva, no intuito de ampliar a compreensão de fatores que contribuem para promover uma existência mais saudável.

The definition of health includes well-being as a prime concept. Following it, there are different theoretical propositions to well-being in literature. This article presents two traditional views and a new conception about well-being. First of all, theoretical basis that sustains subjective well-being is revised. Conceptions about psychological well-being that draw the beginning about positive psychology are showed in the second section. Next, the concept of well-being at work is formulated ponting out your component, which were established in positive links between job and organization. In the end, it is suggested an articulation, based on positive psychology proposition, in order to broaden the understanding of factors that contribute to promote a healthy existence.

As universidades da terceira idade objetivam promover a saúde, o bem-estar psicológico e social e a cidadania dos idosos. O presente estudo teve por objetivo investigar os motivos que levaram idosas a participar da Universidade para a Terceira Idade (UNITI/UFRGS) e as mudanças ocasionadas por essa participação. A amostra foi composta por 103 idosas, que responderam sobre questões sociodemográficas, motivos para freqüentar a UNITI e as mudanças ocasionadas pela participação. O método amostral foi o de conveniência. Os resultados demonstraram que os motivos para a participação foram a busca por novos conhecimentos, novas amizades, novo sentido de vida, ocupação do tempo livre e lazer. A participação ocasionou menos sentimentos de solidão, melhor auto-estima, novos conhecimentos, mais alegria e prazer em viver e novo sentido de vida. Conclui-se que as universidades da terceira idade vêm contribuindo positivamente para o bem-estar de idosos, atuando como um possível preditor de uma velhice bem-sucedida.

The third age universities declare as objectives to promote health, psychological and social well-being and the elderly citizenship. The present study aimed to analyze the reasons that led elderly women to participate of the Third Age University (UNITI/UFRGS) and the changes caused by their participation. The sample consisted of 103 elderly women that answered questions about sociodemographic, their reasons to participate of UNITI and the changes caused by their participation. The sampling process used was the convenience method. The results showed that the reasons that led elderly women to participate of the Third Age University were the search for new knowledge, new friendships, a new sense of life, occupation of their free time and leisure. The participation in this program helped them to reduce the feeling of sadness and increase their self-esteem. They also felt happier and found a new meaning for their lives. The study indicates that the universities of the third age come positively contributing for the well-being of elderly people, acting as a possible predictor of a well-succeeded aging.

Este artigo considera o movimento corporal humano contextualizado no mundo psíquico na visão de Judith Kestenberg, abordando: 1) as principais categorias de movimento identificadas por Kestenberg e os significados relacionados a elas; 2) as relações (afinidades e choques) desses padrões de movimento entre si; 3) as relações entre as preferências iniciais da criança por certos ritmos de movimento e seus padrões de movimento na vida adulta. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi apresentar os estudos de Kestenberg, os quais fornecem um conhecimento necessário para aqueles que buscam compreender o movimento corporal humano no contexto terapêutico.

This paper considers Judith Kestenberg's approach to the psychic contextualization of human body movements, presenting: 1) the main movement categories identified by Kestenberg and their meanings; 2) the relations (affinities and shocks) within these movement patterns; 3) the relations between the initial preferences of a child for certain rhythms of movements and his/her movement patterns in adult life. The aim of this research was to present Kestenberg's studies, which offer a necessary knowledge to those willing to comprehend human body movement in a therapeutic context.

A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo fazer a análise do movimento em rituais umbandistas e, dessa forma, contribuir para o conhecimento da sua linguagem corporal, assim como fornecer subsídios para o desenvolvimento de uma etnopsicologia brasileira. Para efeito de análise, foi utilizado o método Laban, que visa analisar, segundo elementos de esforço, a movimentação corporal, assim como a tonicidade muscular, em relação ao peso, tempo, espaço e fluência. Foram examinados registros em vídeo de diversas classes de "espíritos" do panteão umbandista. A análise dos movimentos peculiares às diversas classes de "espíritos" mostrou que elas diferenciam-se umas das outras por padrões que as caracterizam em relação aos elementos de esforço analisados. Concluiu-se ser possível utilizar o método Laban para discriminar categorias do panteão umbandista e, dessa forma, acrescer o conhecimento a respeito da linguagem corporal nesse culto.

The purpose of this research is analyzing the movement in umbanda rituals in order to contribute for the knowledge of its corporal language, as well as supplying subsidies for the development of a Brazilian ethnopsychology. For the effect analysis, Laban method was used, which aims to analyze the effort elements of the corporal movement, as well as the muscles tonicities, in relation to the weight, time, space and fluency. Registers in video of many classes of "umbanda spirits" had been examined. The analysis of the peculiar movements of many "spirits" classes showed that they differentiate ones of the others for standards that characterize them in relation to the analyzed elements of effort. It was concluded that it is possible to use Laban method to discriminate categories of umbanda's "spirits" classes and in such way to increase the knowledge regarding the corporal language in this cult.

O conceito de discurso, assim como a Análise do Discurso têm tido um papel crescente nas ciências sociais contemporâneas. Este crescimento faz-se sentir quer através do aumento de número de estudos, em diferentes disciplinas, que utilizam os seus conceitos e métodos, quer através da extensão do seu desenvolvimento. Neste artigo pretende-se apresentar algumas concepções de Análise do Discurso mais usadas na psicologia social contemporânea. Começa-se por apresentar em primeiro lugar algumas das influências inspiradoras para a virada linguística na psicologia social, que justificam o aparecimento deste campo cada vez mais amplo da Análise do Discurso. Por fim, faz-se a apresentação de quatro concepções distintas dando particular atenção às duas últimas, nomeadamente à Psicologia Discursiva e à Analise Crítica do Discurso.

The concept of Discourse, as well as Discourse Analysis, have been an increasing role in contemporary social sciences. This growth emerges not only from the growing number of studies based on these concepts and methods, but also through the extension of their development. In this article we intend to present some conceptions of Discourse Analysis which are most used in the contemporary social psychology. We begin to present in first place some of the inspiring influences for the linguistic turn in social psychology that can justify the appearing of the larger and larger field of Discourse Analysis. At last, we present four distinguished Discourse Analysis conceptions, giving particular attention to the last ones namely Discursive Psychology and the Critical Discourse Analysis.

Este trabalho defende a articulação themata-fundos tópicos, visando uma abordagem pragmática da linguagem. O método Alceste permite operar essa articulação. As classes que ele detecta correspondem às tomadas de posição dos enunciadores. Os fundos tópicos contém themata. As extremidades dos eixos fatoriais correspondem às taxinomias, às polaridades opostas que dinamizam as relações intergrupos. Esta abordagem pragmática da linguagem, por intermédio do programa Alceste, fornece ao psicólogo social os elementos necessários para a construção de um sistema explicativo, capaz de restituir o elo perdido entre as distribuições dos mundos lexicais e as relações intergrupos.

This article stands up for relationships among the concepts of Themata and of Topic ground, in order to develop a pragmatic approach to language. The Alceste method is an effective tool to operate this articulation. The clusters distribution that it detects reproduces the positions taken by different groups of speakers. The Topic ground contains Themata. The lexical oppositions, which the factorial analysis makes visible, correspond to the dichotomies, the polarities that keep in motion the inter-group relations. This pragmatic approach to language, through Alceste, provides all the information that the social psychologist needs to conceive one model capable to rescue the link between lexical worlds and inter-group relations.

O artigo visa pensar a especificidade do conceito lacaniano de objeto a, distinguindo-o do objeto tal como é construído pelas ciências experimentais. Ao mesmo tempo, seguindo as indicações de Lacan de que o a seria uma metáfora do objeto de conhecimento, busca-se o sentido em que o objeto da psicanálise e o objeto da ciência poderiam ser aproximados. A conclusão é que seu traço em comum é a propriedade de invariabilidade. O caráter de invariabilidade do a será considerado em uma dupla acepção: como causa de desejo e como mais-gozar, na tentativa de encontrar uma dimensão em que ambas se articulem.

The article aims to think the specificity of lacanian concept of object a, distinguishing it from the object such as it is constructed by experimental sciences. At the same time, following Lacan indications that the a would be a metaphor of the knowledge object, one pursues in what sense the psychoanalysis object and the science object could be approached. The conclusion is their trace in common would be the invariability. The feature of invariability of the a will be considered in a double meaning: as a cause of desire and as surplus of enjoyment, in the attempt to find a dimension where both are articulated

Para investigar como o tipo de reforçador afeta o comportamento em FI após diferentes histórias de reforço, universitários foram expostos a FR ou DRL, que liberavam pontos por pressionar um botão. Alguns participantes trocavam pontos por fotocópias (Condição 1), por dinheiro (Condição 2) ou apenas recebiam os pontos (Condição 3). Subseqüentemente, todos foram expostos a FI. O FR produziu taxas de respostas altas e constantes independentemente do tipo de reforçador utilizado. O FI produziu taxas altas para os participantes das Condições 1 e 2 e baixas para os participantes da Condição 3. O DRL produziu baixas taxas que aumentaram durante o FI subseqüente. Os resultados sugerem que tanto contingências históricas quanto presentes controlaram o comportamento dos participantes e que o tipo de reforçador pode favorecer o responder em taxa alta e constante sob FI após exposição a uma contingência de FR.

To investigate how the type of reinforcer affects the behavior in FI after different reinforcement histories, university students were exposed to FR or to DRL, that liberated points for pressing a button. Some participants changed points for photocopies (Condition 1), for money (Condition 2), or they just received the points (Condition 3). Subsequently, all students were exposed to FI. FR produced high and constant response rates independently of the type of reinforcer. FI produced high rates for the participants of the Conditions 1 and 2, and low for the participants of the Condition 3. DRL provoked low rates that increased during subsequent FI. The results suggest that so much historical contingencies as present contingencies controlled the participants' behavior and that the type of reinforcer can favor responding in high and constant rate under FI after a FR contingency.
