Este trabalho apresenta parte de uma pesquisa quantitativa cujo principal objetivo foi avaliar a satisfação no casamento de homens e mulheres que optaram por relacionamentos de duplo trabalho. Participaram do estudo 222 homens e 222 mulheres casados/as, funcionários/as em diversas instituições públicas de Brasília - DF. A maior concentração de respondentes de ambos os sexos está na faixa etária entre 31 a 40 anos. Os participantes responderam a um questionário demográfico e à Escala de Ajustamento Diádico - DAS. Os resultados mostraram que a maioria dos participantes está satisfeita com seus relacionamentos, sendo que as mulheres apresentaram média de satisfação inferior à dos homens. Quanto à percepção do futuro do relacionamento, ficou evidente o comprometimento de homens e mulheres em investirem na manutenção do casamento. Os resultados questionam a idéia vigente de falência do casamento e da família e apontam para uma transformação das relações.

This paper presents part of a quantitative research regarding marriages in which men and women are engaged in full time work. The main objective was to evaluate marital satisfaction in dual worker couples. Subjects were 222 married men and 222 married women that work in several public institutions in Brasilia - DF. The majority of the participants were between 31 to 40 years old. They answered a demographic questionnaire and the Dyadic Adjustment Scale - DAS. Results showed that the majority of participants were satisfied with their relationships although women presented lower satisfaction scores then men. Regarding the perception of the future of the relationship, the results showed that subjects were committed to preserve their marriage. These data question current ideas that marriages and families are outmoded and point in the direction of a transformation in interpersonal relationships.

A família impõe hoje, àqueles que se dedicam a estudá-la, um grande desafio. Suas transformações são cada vez mais visíveis, tanto do ponto de vista das relações intragrupo como daquelas mantidas com outras instituições sociais. Neste trabalho, procuramos examinar a homoparentalidade, acreditando que essa modalidade de família apresenta as mais significativas mudanças nas relações conjugais e parentais, uma vez que nega o paradigma do qual se origina a família: a diferenciação sexual. O desejo do casal de ter um filho, o luto pela impossibilidade biológica de concebê-lo, a escolha de uma forma, dentre várias, para realizar esse desejo, a relação com um terceiro sujeito que viabiliza a vinda do filho são algumas das questões que enfrentaremos aqui.

Nowadays the family imposes a great challenge to those who dedicate themselves to study it. Its transformations are getting more and more visible, both from the point of view of the relationships internal to the family and of the relations kept with the other social institutions. In this work, we try to examine the homo-parentally, believing that this modality of family presents the most significant changes in the conjugal and parental relations, since it denies the paradigm from which the family originates: the sexual differentiation. The will of a couple to have a son, the mourning for the biological impossibility to conceive it, the choice of a way, amongst several, to carry through this desire, the relation with a third person that makes possible the coming of the son, are some of the questions we will face here.

Este artigo retoma o histórico debate sobre a diferença e a igualdade e as mudanças ocorridas nas relações de gênero sob o impacto do feminismo, da crise da masculinidade e demais transformações econômicas, sociais e culturais em curso. Toma como referência os estudos de gênero que buscam compreender os processos de produção de novas formas de subjetividade masculina e feminina, distanciadas dos tradicionais estereótipos de gênero. Conclui que tais mudanças apontam para a possibilidade concreta da construção de relações de gênero mais democráticas, ideal perseguido desde a modernidade, no casamento e na família, em que o direito à igualdade e o respeito à diferença são as pedras angulares.

This paper discusses the historical debate on difference and equality and on the changes undergone by gender relations under the impact of feminism, of the masculinity crisis and of the other economic, cultural and social changes currently underway. It is based on gender studies which seek to understand the processes of production of new forms of male and female subjectivities which are distant from the traditional gender stereotypes. The paper concludes that these changes point at the concrete possibility of building more democratic gender relations, an ideal which has been pursued since the beginning of the modern era for marriage and family, and whose cornerstones are the right to equality and the respect of difference.

O artigo trata das inter-relações entre a imaturidade dos pais e o processo de criação dos filhos. Baseia-se no relato de uma experiência clínica onde a formação de sintomas nas crianças era decorrente da dificuldade do casal parental na constituição da conjugalidade e no estabelecimento dos papéis de cada um no interior da família, além de forte interferência das famílias de origem. O referencial teórico winnicottiano é utilizado, traçando-se um paralelo entre o desenvolvimento da criança e o da família e buscando uma articulação com as características da sociedade atual.

The article deals with the relationship between parents' immaturity and the process of children's upbringing. It is based on the report of a clinical experience where symptom formation in the children was due to the parental couple's difficulty in the constitution of conjugality and in the establishment of their respective roles within the family, along with a strong interference from the extended family. Winnicott's theory is used to compare the development of the child with that of the family and to articulate it with characteristics of current society.

Este trabalho analisa a construção social do corpo a partir dos dados de uma pesquisa realizada com 1279 homens e mulheres das camadas médias brasileiras e da análise de matérias de jornais e revistas nacionais. Pretende-se discutir a construção dos corpos feminino e masculino em uma cultura que transforma corpos "naturais" em corpos aprisionados por modelos inalcançáveis de masculinidade e feminilidade.

This paper analyzes the social construction of the body in a culture where bodies are imprisoned by unreachable models of masculinity and femininity. The data here presented is taken from a research with 1279 Brazilian middle class men and women and magazines and newspapers articles.

Os provérbios contêm informações culturalmente importantes sobre temas como casamento e relações de gênero, uma vez que constituem discurso autoritário e estereotipado aceito e memorizado pelas pessoas desde a infância. O presente estudo envolveu seleção e categorização de provérbios sobre relações amorosas, casamento, descasamento, bem como sobre as condições socioculturais que caracterizam a vida masculina e feminina com o objetivo de analisar singularidades e regularidades reveladoras das concepções presentes em tal modalidade de produção cultural. A seleção dos 569 provérbios examinados foi feita a partir de fontes documentais. Os provérbios foram classificados em 4 grandes temas (Amor, Casamento e Relações Conjugais, Homem, Mulher) que comportaram 104 subcategorias de análise. Os resultados revelaram um universo cultural construído a partir da perspectiva masculina, no qual estão presentes concepções sobre a natureza feminina e sobre as relações amorosas que justificam o desequilíbrio de poder nas relações conjugais que se constata ainda hoje.

Proverbs contain culturally important information about themes such as marriage and gender relations, since they constitute an authoritarian and stereotyped discourse which is accepted and memorized by people from early ages. The present study involved selection and categorization of proverbs about romantic relationships, marriage, separation, as well as about the socio-cultural conditions that characterize masculine and feminine life, with the objective of analyzing revealing singularities and regularities of the conceptions present in such modality of cultural production. The selection of the 569 examined proverbs was made from documental sources. The proverbs were classified in 4 broader themes (Love, Marriage and Conjugal Relations, Man, Woman) which spanned 104 analysis sub-categories. The results revealed a cultural universe constructed upon the male perspective, in which are found conceptions about the feminine nature and about romantic relationships that justify the unbalance of power in conjugal relationships still found in current days.

Neste texto abordamos a questão do dilaceramento traumático como a expressão de um desmalhe dos continentes psíquicos individuais, familiares e comunitários. Consideramos a resiliência familiar como a capacidade da própria família de reconstruir os laços psíquicos. Para ilustrar a conceituação teórica da malhagem numa perspectiva psicanalítica do laço, tomamos a rede como objeto metafórico. Na clínica, propomo-nos lançar mão de dispositivos que permitam trabalhar a capacidade da família e consideramos que uma psicoterapia unicamente individual conduz a uma evolução clínica limitada.

In this text we approach the question of the traumatic dilaceration as the expression of an unweaving of the individual, familiar and communitarian psychic continents. We consider familiar resilience as the capacity of the family to reconstruct by itself the psychical bonds. To illustrate the theoretical conceptualization of weaving in a psychoanalytic perspective of the bond, we take the net as a metaphorical object. In the clinical practice, we propose to use devices which contribute to enhance the capacity of the family as a whole, and we consider that individual psychotherapy alone leads to a limited clinical evolution.

Este artigo apresenta a análise das manifestações da crise adolescência na correlação que estas mantêm com o funcionamento social contemporâneo como indicador privilegiado para pensar a operação da ciência e seus efeitos no campo do sujeito. A análise parte do exame da incidência da ciência sobre a linguagem como domínio a partir do qual o sujeito se constitui. Aborda questões próprias da clínica psicanalítica com adolescentes - tais como a dificuldade de elaboração de uma referência à alteridade e seus impasses diante do sexo e a morte -, refletindo sobre a vinculação destas dificuldades com o que é desencadeado pelas transformações do discurso e do laço social constitutivas da prática da ciência.

The present paper focuses on the manifestations of the so called adolescence crisis related to the contemporary social order, to analyze the effects of science on the field of the subject. Starting with the exam of the transformations science imposes to language and taking language as constitutive of the subject, the paper approaches some frequent issues of the psychoanalytical clinic held with adolescents - such as the difficulties with otherness, or the subjective position of the young towards sex and death. The relationship those issues might have with the operations performed by science which transform the order of discourse is discussed.

O uso de drogas na adolescência vem crescendo drasticamente nos últimos 15 anos, a ponto de tornar-se reconhecido problema de saúde pública. Certo é que, quanto antes forem aplicados alguns tipos de tratamento a este problema, menores serão as conseqüências negativas do uso de drogas. Este artigo busca expor os tratamentos existentes para a dependência química na adolescência e tem como foco a Entrevista Motivacional, espécie de tratamento ambulatorial, caracterizada como uma técnica breve realizada em de 1 a 5 sessões e que é empregada, principalmente, para comportamentos de uso de drogas ilícitas, tabaco e álcool. Apresenta características positivas para aplicabilidade na adolescência, tais como a busca pela motivação intrínseca do paciente, a não-confrontação, não-hostilidade e uso de técnicas cognitivas para auxiliar o processo terapêutico.

Drug use in adolescents has been growing drastically in the past 15 years, so that it is being recognized as a public health issue. Certainly, the sooner certain types of treatments are used, lower shall be the risk of drugs abuse. This article tries to display the existing treatments for chemical dependence through adolescence and has as its focus the motivational interview, a type of ambulatory treatment, characterized as a brief technique, applied in about 1 to 5 sections, mainly to cases of illicit drugs, tobacco and alcohol. The technique has positives characteristics for its applicability through adolescence as the search for the patient intrinsic motivation, the non confrontation, non hostility, and the use of cognitive techniques to assist in the therapeutic process.

O objetivo do artigo é estudar a contratransferência do psicólogo coordenador de grupo, como ele trabalha com a mesma, que eventuais dificuldades encontra para tal. O método de análise do material foi o qualitativo, coletado através de uma entrevista semi-estruturada respondida por quatro psicólogas que trabalham com grupos abertos apoiadas no referencial psicanalítico. As entrevistas foram gravadas e transcritas e, posteriormente, submetidas à análise de conteúdo. Pôde-se identificar sentimentos do psicólogo despertados na situação de grupo e como ele maneja os mesmos. Também foram discutidas as particularidades da contratransferência na situação de grupo, aspectos referentes à formação do psicólogo e à questão dos grupos na psicanálise.

The objective of this research is to study the countertransference of the psychologist as a coordinator of group, how he deals with it, which difficulties he may face. To reach this objective a qualitative method was used. Four female psychologists who worked with groups based on the psychoanalytic theory answered a semi-structured interview which was recorded, transcribed and analyzed through the method of content analysis. It was possible to identify the different feelings of the psychologist that emerge in the group situation and to see how he manages them. Characteristics of countertransference in a group situation, questions concerning groups in psychoanalysis and the professional formation of the psychologist are discussed.

Este texto é parte integrante de uma investigação em busca do sentido da psicanálise, ou dos sentidos que ela possa apresentar. Busca-se justificar e apreender o sentido originário e fundamental da psicanálise. Enfoca-se a compreensão freudiana que a entende inicialmente como uma intencionalidade puramente terapêutica, mostrando-se que, antes de constituir-se como conhecimento, a psicanálise é assumida como ato, isto é, trabalho de tratamento da neurose. "Psicanálise" foi o nome dado por Freud a esse trabalho. Em conclusão, discute-se o sentido desse trabalho, cujo nome permite circunscrever, apontando-se o seu método e o seu objeto.

This text is part of an investigation on the meaning of psychoanalysis, or the meanings it may(can) present. It aims to justify and apprehend the originary and fundamental meaning of psychoanalysis. Freudian comprehended psychoanalysis as having a purely therapeutic aim. Before consisting of knowledge, psychoanalysis was understood as a therapeutic act, that is, as labour of treatment of the neurosis. This labour circumscribed by the name - "psychoanalysis" - is discussed, and its method and object are pointed out.

A partir de uma interrogação sobre as representações dos atos terroristas na imprensa e na televisão, examinaremos as noções de barbárie, de crueldade e de sadismo de um ponto de vista simultaneamente individual e coletivo. As novas formas do conflito e da destrutividade que marcam quotidianamente a atualidade incitam a uma reflexão ampla sobre a natureza, as relações e mesmo os paradoxos da oposição entre ordem e desordem. A ordem responde a uma necessidade de domínio sobre o mundo e constitui uma parte inerente à busca do sentido da vida própria a cada um. Entretanto, longe de atingir uma harmonia, ela produz contestações, revoltas e, necessita ser "mantida", confundindo-se, por sua vez, com uma violência "legítima".

From an interrogation on the representation of the terrorist acts in the press and the television, we examine the notions of barbarity, cruelty and sadism, both in the individual and collective field, from a psychoanalytic point of view. The new forms of the conflict and the destructiveness which marks the quotidian of our epoch, evoke an ample reflection on the nature, the relations, and even the paradoxes of the opposition between order and clutter. Order results from the necessity of domination over the world, and constitutes an inherent part of the search for a meaning for life. However, far from leading to harmony, it produces contestations, revolts and it needs to be "maintained", being confused with a "legitimate" violence.
