En este trabajo nos proponemos interrogar el fenómeno de la maternidad tardía desde la perspectiva del psicoanálisis. Centramos nuestro estudio en dos nociones: la de tiempo, asociada al funcionamiento del cuerpo femenino; y la de creación, en relación a la procreación humana. Ambas, tiempo y creación, están contenidas, para la teoría psicoanalítica, en el concepto de sublimación, representando una vía de abordaje singular de la feminidad y, en particular, de la maternidad como uno de sus destinos.

The purpose of this work is to interrogate the phenomenon of delayed maternity from the psychoanalytical perspective. We base our study on two notions: the issue of time, related to the way the feminine body works; and the notion of creation, related to human procreation. Time and creation are two fundamental elements regarding the psychoanalytical concept of sublimation. They both constitute a singular way to approach femininity and particularly maternity as one of its destinies.

O objetivo deste trabalho é compreender a inserção de mulheres na Ciência da Computação. Buscou-se conhecer as percepções de professoras e professores a respeito da inserção das mulheres nessa área e as estratégias acionadas por elas para afirmarem-se nesse ambiente androcêntrico. Metodologicamente, realizou-se um estudo exploratório de natureza qualitativa com a utilização de entrevistas em profundidade com 12 docentes da área. Consideraram-se as percepções de ambos os sexos sobre o fenômeno, pois, como afirma Michelle Perrot,¹ não se pode pensar na história das mulheres sem considerar os homens. Os resultados indicam que há formas sutis de discriminação e segregação das mulheres na área, exigindo delas esforço adicional para terem o mesmo reconhecimento que os homens.

The aim of this study is to understand the inclusion of women in computer science. We sought to understand the perceptions of teachers and teachers about the inclusion of women in this area as well as the strategies used by them to assert themselves in this environment androcentric. Methodologically, there was a qualitative exploratory study using in-depth interviews with 12 teachers in the area. It was considered the perceptions of both sexes on the phenomenon, because as said Michelle Perrot,71 one can't think of the history of women without regard to men. The results indicate that there are subtle forms of discrimination and segregation of women in the area, requiring additional effort to have them the same recognition as men.

Este artigo¹ discute os avanços e desafios para se alcançar o equilíbrio numérico entre homens e mulheres que compõem os componentes militares das Operações de Paz das Nações Unidas. Há relativo consenso quanto à importância do aumento da presença feminina em campo; entretanto, necessário se faz analisar em que medida as justificativas para o aumento do número de mulheres contrastam com ideias convencionais sobre os espaços a serem ocupados por elas nos instrumentos de manutenção da paz. Com base em teorias feministas e de gênero, este artigo questiona o discurso apresentado pela ONU em prol da estratégia de Equilíbrio de Gênero.

This article addresses the advances and challenges to achieve a greater balance between men and women who participate in military components of United Nations peacekeeping operations. There is relative consensus about the importance of increasing female military presence in the field; however it is also important to analyze the extent to which the increase in the number of women satisfactorily contests conventional ideas about the spaces to be occupied by them in UN peacekeeping. Anchored by gender and feminists theories, this article problematizes the United Nations' discourse of Gender Balance.

O estudo tem por objetivo apresentar algumas reflexões sobre as mulheres das classes populares, suas ações e táticas a respeito das diferentes formas de violência sofridas no cotidiano de Novo Hamburgo (RS). Para tanto, trabalhamos com as ocorrências policiais registradas no Livro de Queixas desse município, entre o período de 1919 a 1924. A partir das queixas, buscamos (re)pensar o papel das mulheres e suas práticas em meio a uma sociedade envolta pelos conflitos e tensões vinculados às relações de gênero. Os registros policiais, como fonte de pesquisa, contribuem de forma significativa para pensarmos a complexidade histórica da região do Vale do Rio dos Sinos e, mais especificamente, a respeito das mulheres e suas ações no espaço em estudo.

The study aims to present some reflections on lower classes women, their actions and tactics of the different forms of violence experienced in daily life on the second district of Sao Leopoldo city (RS). For this purpose, we work with the police incidents recorded in the Grievance's Book between the period 1919 to 1924. From complaints we consider rethink women's role and their practices in a society surrounded by tensions and conflicts linked to gender relations. The police reports as a source contribute significantly to think through the complex history of Vale do Sinos region, and more specifically on women and their action this study.

Este artigo pretende abordar um tema ainda pouco estudado nas ciências sociais brasileiras: as relações de parentesco e família dos militares, no caso, do Exército. A partir de uma etnografia realizada na Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (instituição do Exército brasileiro) e em sua respectiva vila, entre 2007 e 2008, percebeu-se que entre os militares é recorrente o uso do termo "Família Militar", que indica ora o contingente militar da instituição, ora a família no seu sentido privado (cônjuge e filhos), ora todos esses elementos juntos. Tal uso da noção de família revelou uma concepção particular, que sugere sua ligação com aspectos sociológicos também específicos da vida militar. Com base nisso, este artigo tem como foco as noções e formas de família dos militares e busca analisar as relações e configurações estabelecidas entre exército e família.

This article aims to address a topic with little research in Brazilian social sciences: family and kinship relations of military people, in this case, inside the Army. From an ethnography performed between 2007 and 2008 at the Agulhas Negras Military Academy (Brazilian Army institution) and inside its village, it was implied that the use of the term "Military Family" is frequent among the militaries, indicating either the military contingent of the institution, or the family in its private meaning (spouse and children) or both elements together. Such definition of family revealed a very particular conception of it, suggesting its connection to sociological aspects also specifics for the military life. Based on that, this article focuses on the concepts and forms of military families and seeks to investigate the relations and configurations established between Army and family.

O artigo propõe uma análise sobre os desafios e obstáculos enfrentados, em especial para alcançar posições de prestígio e poder, pelas mulheres na carreira científica na área da Física no Brasil. A análise apresentada foi realizada por meio da observação participante no Second Iupap Conference on Women in Physics e por meio da realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas com pesquisadoras da área.

The article presents an analysis of the challenges and obstacles, faced by women in scientific career in Brazil, particularly in the field of Physics, in their attempts to achieve positions of prestige and power. The analysis was made by participant observation in Second IUPAP Conference on Women in Physics and by conducting semi-structured interviews with researchers in the area.

O artigo discute os descompassos entre as identidades (sexuais e de gênero), os desejos e as práticas sexuais, bem como as relações entre identidades sexuais e percepções de risco às DSTs/Aids de um grupo de mulheres jovens, autoclassificadas como lésbicas ou bissexuais, frequentadoras de espaços de entretenimento noturno no Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Frente à relação entre a construção das identidades e os processos de vulnerabilidade, a análise se debruça no papel das identidades sexuais nos contextos de interação social e trajetórias erótico-afetivas do grupo, apontando circunstâncias relativas à sociabilidade, ao gênero e ao perfil social que balizam a suscetibilidade às DSTs. Os achados revelam que a autodefinição das categorias identitárias das jovens varia em função dos relacionamentos afetivo-sexuais com parcerias de ambos os sexos e das redes de sociabilidade, em distintos momentos de suas vidas, indicando um sentido de fluidez na expressão da sexualidade. A lógica de proteção às DSTs/Aids do grupo é influenciada pela intimidade estabelecida nos relacionamentos afetivos e pela percepção de 'segurança' nas práticas homoeróticas femininas. Frente à importância das práticas homo e heterossexual para a transmissão das DSTs e a tendência das campanhas preventivas em privilegiar grupos com identidades fixas, sugere-se que políticas voltadas para a saúde sexual e a saúde da mulher priorizem a história sexual das mulheres e as relações entre suas práticas e identidades em contextos específicos.

This article discusses the discrepancies between sexual identities, gender performances, desires and sexual practices. It aims to analyze the relationship between sexual identities and the risk of perception to STI/Aids from a group of young women with homoerothic experiences, who classify themselves as lesbians or bisexuals, that attend a variety of nocturnal social environments in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Based on the relation between the processes of vulnerability and the construction of identities, the analysis focuses on the role of sexual identities in the contexts of social interactions and sexual-affective trajectories of the group. The results revealed some circumstances related to sociability, gender and social profile that define the susceptibility to STI/Aids. The auto-classification or self-labeling of the identities of these young women, vary according to the sexual-affective relationships with male and female sexual partners and the network of interaction in different phases of their lives. These experiences suggest a sense of fluidity on the expression of their sexuality. The logic of protection to STI/Aids of the group is influenced by the intimacy established on the affective relationships and by the perception of 'safety' in the same sex sexual practices. Due to the importance of homo and heterosexual practices for the transmission of sexual transmitted infections and the tendency of preventive campaigns to give preference to groups with fixed identities suggests that sexual health policies should give priority to the women's sexual history as well as the relationship between their practices and their identities in specific contexts

A Conferência Interamericana, realizada no Uruguai em novembro de 1933, marca o início de uma longa e consistente cooperação de Bertha Lutz com a diplomacia brasileira. Essa conferência representou uma vitória temporária de parcela radical do feminismo norte-americano - o National Party of Women - ao qual Bertha se opunha, por convicção e fidelidade pessoal a outros grupos feministas. Este ensaio examina as razões para os meios diplomáticos aderirem a defesa dos direitos das mulheres. O debate travado em Montevidéu também ilumina a compreensão do pensamento político de Bertha Lutz e abre novas perspectivas historiográficas para as culturas políticas dos feminismos.

The Interamerican Conference of Montevideo, that took place in November 1933, is the starting point of a long and consistent cooperation between Bertha Lutz and Brazilian diplomacy. During the same conference, a radical faction of North American feminism - the National Party of Women - obtained a temporary political victory. Lutz opposed the NWP due to her own convictions and personal bounds to other feminist groups. This essay examines the reasons why diplomatic milieu adhered to the defense of women´s rights. The debate of Montevideo also enhances the understanding of Bertha Lutz´s political thought, as well as opens new historiography perspectives to the question of the political cultures of feminisms.

Este artigo se propõe a problematizar a categoria da representação, em suas esferas política, social e estética, a partir das contribuições trazidas por algumas teorias feministas - compreendidas aqui em seu sentido mais amplo. Em sua parte inicial, apresentará um breve mapeamento de alguns possíveis significados da representação; em seguida introduzirá as críticas dos estudos feministas a essa categoria; por fim, na última parte do artigo, utilizaremos alguns conceitos dos Genders Studies.

The point of departure will be some feminists theories' contributions to the concept of representation. En este artículo desarrollo la iconografía del cuerpo realizada por las mujeres artistas representativas de los años sesenta y setenta del siglo XX. Las artistas de este periodo proponen una reflexión en torno al cuerpo humano, junto con la adopción de comportamientos plásticos heterogéneos que, originándose en ese momento histórico, se mantendrán vigentes, cobrando incluso más vigor en décadas posteriores, dando origen a una diversidad de prácticas y temáticas artísticas.

In this text I develop the imagery of the body made by women artists representing the sixties and seventies of the twentieth century. The artists of this period suggest a reflection on the human body, together with the adoption of heterogeneous plastic behaviors, which, having developed from this historical moment, will remain in force, becoming even stronger in the subsequent decades, giving rise to a diversity of practices and artistic themes.

A primeira secção deste artigo incide num estudo representativo dos feminismos artísticos praticados em Portugal. Grande parte das referências de artistas, activistas ou grupos foi pesquisada e acedida on-line, num processo de trabalho que combinou a consulta e pedidos de depoimentos às/aos artistas sobre as suas obras e imagens. A segunda secção pretende mensurar as condições de produção de arte feminista. Tal foi possível sobretudo através do levantamento de dados on-line relativos à representatividade de artistas homens e mulheres em algumas das principais instâncias artísticas. Adicionalmente, foram articulados alguns testemunhos de agentes artísticos que documentassem alguns dos obstáculos presentes no sistema artístico português impostos às mulheres artistas, assim como à produção de arte feminista.

The first section of this article focuses on feminist art produced in Portugal. Most of the references concerning artists, activists and groups were surveyed and accessed online, a work process that combined the consultation and requests for statements of the artists about their artworks. The second section aims to measure the production conditions of feminist art in Portugal. This was achieved mainly through the online data collection relating to representation of men and women artists in some of the main artistic institutions. Additionally, were articulated some witnesses of artistic agents to document some of the obstacles present in the Portuguese art world imposed on women artists, as well feminist artists.

El trabajo aporta una mirada integradora entre los estudios de género y los estudios de la cultura visual. Se busca interpretar las figuraciones de mujeres en revistas ilustradas argentinas de amplia difusión, hacia 1920, para reflexionar sobre las convenciones de las distinciones genéricas, los comportamientos de emulación, las representaciones de exclusión social y las articulaciones que se establecen entre ellos. Se propone que los modos de caracterizar los cuerpos desempeñan un rol crucial; así, la apariencia, la gestualidad y la evocación a un estilo de vida dada por los elementos que componen la escena actúan como fórmulas iconográficas que sustentan la agencia del reconocimiento social. Se presta atención a las condiciones de producción y diseño de los discursos, los temas que se desarrollan, los dispositivos que se utilizan desde los lenguajes y los significados potenciales de reconocimiento.

The article provides an integrated view between gender studies and visual culture studies. It seeks to interpret the figurations of women in argentine glossy magazines widely available, around 1920, to reflect on the conventions of generic distinctions, behavior emulation, social exclusion representations and articulations between them. It is proposed that the ways of characterizing bodies plays a crucial role so, the appearance, gestures and the evocation of a life style given for the elements of the scene act as iconographic formulas that support the agency of social recognition. Attention is paid to the design and production conditions of discourses, the themes developed, the devices that are used from the languages, and the potential meanings of recognition.

O filme de Darren Aronofsky, A Fonte da Vida (The Fountain, 2006), se oferece a uma leitura produtiva das formas em que discursos de opressão se interseccionam ao serem codificados cinemática e/ou ideologicamente. Este artigo analisa as diferenças de gênero, espécie e raça/etnia no filme e o modo em que são constitutivamente articuladas para possibilitar a "imanência" do Outro em cada um desses discursos, produzindo assim o sujeito "transcendental". Parto de uma compreensão filosófica do papel essencial da diferença de espécie (e do privilégio do status do humano) na constituição interseccional de outros vetores de diferença, como o gênero, o sexo, a raça e a etnia. Articulo, enfim, esse modo amplo de abordagem interseccional com uma discussão da relação com a morte que é supostamente exclusivamente humana e que permite que a humanidade seja construída como oposta à animalidade.

Darren Aronofsky's 2006 film The Fountain presents itself to a productive reading into the ways in which intersectioning discourses of oppression are coded into film and operated on as ideologies. This article will look on the differences of gender, species, and race/ethnicity in the film, and on how they are constitutively articulated in order to enable the "immanence" of the Other in each of these discourses of oppression so as to produce the "transcendental" Subject. I will set out from a philosophical understanding of the essential role of the species difference (and the privilege of the human status) in the intersectional constitution of other vectors of difference, such as gender, sex, race, ethnicity, and ability. I will attempt to articulate this broad form of intersectional approach with a discussion of the supposedly exclusively human relationship with death which allows humanity to be constructed as opposed to animality.

En este artículo analizaremos el devenir del universo de mujeres de Gioconda Belli, a través de la mirada de tres personajes protagonistas femeninos que se pronuncian de forma contundente sobre la vida y la estética literaria de la autora. Partiremos del análisis de Lavinia, protagonista femenina de La mujer habitada (1988) la primera novela de la autora; a continuación analizaremos el perfil de Sofia, protagonista de Sofía de los presagios (1990), su segunda novela. Y por último, escudriñaremos las características de un personaje femenino que propone una nueva lectura de la mítica Juana de Castilla, protagonista de El Pergamino de la seducción (2005). Las tres figuras femeninas literarias nacen de sus propias experiencias simultaneadas por la memoria, compañera inseparable en el afianzamiento del yo, y son heroínas de su propia historia.

In this article we will analyze Gioconda Belli's women's universe, through both the view of three female protagonists, who decisively articulate their lives, and the literary esthetics of the author. We will begin by analyzing Virginia, the female protagonist of La mujer habitada (1988), her first novel; then we will examine Sofia, main character of Sofía de los presagios (1990), her second novel; and last, we will investigate the characteristics of a female character that proposes a new reading of the mythical Joan of Castilla, protagonist of El Pergamino de la seducción (2005). The three female literary characters are born from their own experiences along with memory, inseparable partner in the consolidation of the I, and they are the heroines of the own history.

Considerada uma das mais expoentes prosadoras da "belle époque tropical", Júlia Lopes de Almeida (1862-1934) revelou-se, a despeito do gênero literário que a consagrou, detentora de uma inegável versatilidade estilística. Quanto a isso, suas incursões pelas artes dramáticas são um inequívoco exemplo: além de haver publicado os volumes A Herança (1909) e Teatro (1917), a escritora deixou algo em torno de uma dezena de textos teatrais inéditos e não encenados, todos eles disponíveis, sob a forma de documentos autógrafos e/ou datiloscritos, em seu acervo particular, mantido por Claudio Lopes de Almeida, seu neto. Diante da magnitude do legado em questão, o presente artigo estabelece como recorte analítico privilegiado a peça inédita "O Caminho do Bem", a partir da qual tencionamos contribuir, à luz das imbricações entre arte e gênero/sexo, não apenas para a fortuna crítica da escritora, mas para aqueles estudos dedicados à pavimentação de lacunas que a historiografia literária brasileira ainda abriga.

Considered one of the foremost exponent prose writers of the "tropical belle époque", and in spite of the literary genre in which she has earned reputation, Júlia Lopes de Almeida (1862-1934) has revealed herself as a writer of an undeniable artistic versatility. Thus, her explorations on the Dramatic Arts seem to be an unequivocal example: besides the published works A Herança (1909) and Teatro (1917), the writer has left around a dozen unpublished and unstaged dramaturgical texts, all of them available as handwritten and/or typed manuscripts, in her private archives, which have been maintained by Claudio Lopes de Almeida, her grandson. Bearing in mind the extension of her legacy, and considering the liaisons between art and gender/sex, this article pursues to analyze the dramaturgical text entitled "O Caminho do Bem". Our purpose is to contribute not only to the critical fortune of the writer, but also to those studies which have been dedicating themselves to paving the overshadowed gaps still inscribed in the field of the Brazilian literary historiography.

Este artigo pretende discutir algumas das ambivalentes relações entre cinema, política e performatividade de gênero no romance El beso de la mujer araña [O beijo da mulher-aranha], romance argentino escrito por Manuel Puig e publicado pela primeira vez em 1976. Embora esse romance não seja o primeiro a problematizar gênero e performatividade no contexto da literatura latino-americana, ele apresenta um enredo particularmente subversivo no que diz respeito à representação de rupturas no interior dos preceitos heteronormativos.

This paper aims to discuss some ambivalent relations between cinema, politics and gender performativity in El beso de la mujer arena [The Kiss of The Spider Woman], an Argentinian novel written by Manuel Puig and first published in 1976. Although this novel was not the first one to discuss gender and homosexuality in the context of Latin American literature, it presents a narrative plot particularly subversive when it comes to the representation of ruptures into the heteronormative beliefs.

Este artículo está orientado a precisar las relaciones entre experiencia corporal de las mujeres y testimonio. Un largo hábito de subalternidad ha expropiado a las mujeres de la posibilidad de tomar la palabra sobre sus experiencias corporales. Es por ello la importancia que tiene la singularidad de sus testimonios, que implica tomar la palabra en una situación de imposibilidad del lenguaje; es siempre el relato de un acontecimiento traumático del que se habla, pero del que también podría no hablarse. El sujeto/a que toma la palabra da cuenta de un conocimiento que - si bien es precario - constituye un saber del que antes no se tenía registro. Es que el testimonio pone en juego la relación entre la lengua y el archivo. Exige una subjetividad que atestigüe sobre la posibilidad misma de hablar, un/a sujeto capaz de pronunciar lo "inaudito", produciendo con su palabra una intervención ética. La autoridad del testimonio depende de una relación inmemorial entre lo indecible y lo decible, produce una palabra que nombra una experiencia singular. Las palabras de las mujeres que relatan experiencias corporales nombran una dimensión fundamental de nuestra experiencia, la de la diferencia sexual produciendo un dislocamiento en la presunta neutralidad de la lengua. Se trata de una reflexión que abre la posibilidad de poner palabras a lo innombrable.

The aim of this article is to specify the relationships between corporal experiences of women and testimony. A long habit of subordination has expropriated the women of the possibility of speaking of their bodily experiences. Thus, the importance of the singularity of their testimonies, which implies beginning to speak in a situation of impossibility of the language. This is always the account of a traumatic event, but which could also not be spoken about. The individual who speaks shows an awareness that, even though insufficient, constitutes a knowledge that has not been registered before. The testimony brings into play the link between language and documentation. It demands a subjectivity that is able to testify the very possibility of speaking, an individual capable of speaking "unprecedented" words, and who produces, with it, an ethical intervention. The authority of testimony depends on an immemorial relationship between the unspeakable and that which can be said, it produces a word which mentions a singular experience. Women's words who account bodily experiences mention a fundamental dimension of our experience: the experience of sexual difference. It produces a dislocation in the alleged neutrality of the language. This is a reflection which opens up the possibility of naming the unspeakable.

Este artigo, recorte da tese de doutorado da autora, mostra o papel social do rádio em Timor-Leste, bem como o protagonismo das mulheres comunicadoras, outrora guerrrilheiras, desde a independência do país. Embora a presença feminina na mídia timorense seja ainda bastante tímida e haja necessidade de transpor inúmeras barreiras, inclusive o uso da língua portuguesa, elas enfatizam a relevância dessa participação e o reconhecimento do trabalho radiofônico nos espaços recentemente conquistados. Entre reflexões sobre a voz e a palavra em ambientes de "oralidade mediatizada", vão se revelando aspectos culturais de um povo que busca adequar-se a uma nova realidade sem abdicar de suas tradições. A pesquisa foi realizada em campo, entre 2005 e 2006, e materializou-se através de levantamentos documental, bibliográfico e entrevistas (história de vida e relatos testemunhais).

This article clipping of the author's doctoral thesis, shows the social role of radio in East Timor, as well as the role of women communicators guerrrilheiras once, since the country's independence. Although the presence of women in the media Timorese is still quite timid and there is a need to overcome several barriers, including the use of the Portuguese language, they emphasize the importance of this participation and recognition of the working spaces in newly conquered radio. Among reflections on the voice and word environments "mediatized orality," will reveal the cultural aspects of a people who are seeking to adapt themselves into a new reality without giving up their traditions. The research was conducted in the field, between 2005-06 and materialized through documentary surveys, literature and interviews (life story and witness reports).

A partir da instrumentalidade da Hermenêutica Negra Feminista, pretende-se interpretar Cântico dos Cânticos, capítulo 1, versículos 5-6. Nesse exercício hermenêutico que privilegia a experiência da mulher negra, marcada pelo sexismo, racismo e classismo, propõe-se resgatar o texto de sua unilateral interpretação ocidental. Evidencia-se que a tradução desse texto bíblico tem sido condicionada pela lógica do etnocentrismo, e as interpretações são pautadas pelo eurocentrismo, o que acaba inviabilizando a identificação da influência afro-asiática na formação e autocompreensão dos israelitas.

It is aimed to interpret the Song of Solomon 1.5-6 on the basis of the Black Feminist Hermenutics. In this interpretation exercice , that favour the black woman experience marked by sexism, racism and classism, it is intended to rescue the text from its western unilateral interpretation. It is shown through translation of this text that it has been conditioned by the ethnocentrism and the interpretations are based on the Eurocentrism, making the Afro-Asiatic influence unfeasible in the Israelites formation and understanding.

O objetivo é examinar os fatores responsáveis pela construção da hegemonia dos atletas soviéticos da patinação artística de duplas e da dança no gelo nas principais competições internacionais a partir da década de 1960, bem como os efeitos dessa hegemonia na construção da imagem da União Soviética como potência esportiva mundial. O uso do desempenho dos casais em competições era um veículo para a comunicação internacional dos sucessos do regime comunista na preparação técnica de sua população. O aparato criado em torno da patinação artística de duplas e da dança no gelo na União Soviética era imbuído de um viés político heteronormativo, que naturalizava as hierarquias que situavam a mulher numa posição de dependência em relação ao homem e contribuía para a exclusão de práticas que apontavam para o questionamento da ordem patriarcal erguida pelo regime comunista.

The objective is to examine the factors responsible for the construction of the hegemony of Soviet pair figure skating athletes and ice dancing competitions at major international events since the sixties and its effects on the image of the Soviet Union as a world sports' power. The use of the performance of figure skating pairs in competitions was a powerful vehicle for international communication of successes of the communist regime in technical preparation of its population. The discourse created around the figure skating pairs and ice dancers in the Soviet Union was imbued with a heteronormative political bias, which naturalized hierarchies in which women were situated in a position of dependence on men and contributed to the exclusion of socio-cultural practices and policies that pointed to the questioning of the patriarchal order built by the communist regime.
