A distinção representação coisa/palavra foi empregada por Freud em 1891, e ele a reintroduz nos seus trabalhos sobre metapsicologia. A relação entre essas duas representações sintetizou, em 1915, uma ruptura tanto com a psicologia da época, como com uma prolongada tradição filosófica. Esse rompimento problematiza muitos dos supostos mais firmemente enraizados até hoje na filosofia. Procura-se aqui investigar o significado da divisão representação palavra/coisa, tanto para a psicanálise, como para a filosofia representacional, e assinalar alguns dos efeitos mais importantes da mesma.

The distinction word representation/thing representation in Freud: Theoretical changes and philosophical consequences. Freud reintroduces the distinction thing representation/word representation in metapsychological works after it was used in 1891. This representational pair synthesizes, in 1915, a break both with the psychology of the time and with a long philosophical tradition. Such break turns problematic many of the suppositions deeply rooted in today's philosophy. This article inquires about the significance of the division word/thing representation for psychoanalysis as well as for the representational philosophy, and it points out some of the most important effects of it.

Tenta-se pensar algumas faces do conceito psicanalítico de repetição, tanto em sua dimensão teórica quanto clínica. Analisa-se, junto a Freud, a relação entre ela e outros conceitos clínicos como os de recordação, resistência, transferência e atuação. Por meio do pensamento lacaniano, indica-se o caráter fundamental deste termo para o saber psicanalítico, sua relação com os conceitos de Tiquê, de Autômaton, de objeto a e de cadeia de significantes, e sua aproximação com a "retomada " kierkegaardiana. E com Miller estuda-se o lugar da angústia como operador que produz uma desarticulação na amarração ordenada, exposta no fenômeno da repetição.

The concept of the repetition and its importance for psychoanalytical theory. This paper aims to think some faces of the psychoanalysis's concept of the repetition, in a clinical and theoretical dimension. We will analyze, along with Freud, the relation between this concept and other concepts as memory, resistance, transference and acting out. Through the Lacan's thought, we will indicate the basic character of this term to the psychoanalytic knowledge, its relation to it with the concepts of Tiquê, Autômaton, object a and chain of signifier, and its approach with the Kierkegaardian's term, retaken. With Miller we will think the place of the anguish as the operator who produces a disarticulation in the commanded knotting, displayed in the phenomenon of the repetition.

Defende-se a idéia de que a reflexão psicanalítica sobre o sujeito implica uma consideração do espaço e de sua configuração, como já indica a preocupação tópica freudiana e a busca topológica empreendida por Lacan. O descentramento do sujeito se faria acompanhar por uma subversão do espaço que foi explorada culturalmente, ao longo do século XX, por produções de arte moderna e contemporânea. Busca-se, portanto, realizar um diálogo com este tipo de produção, escolhendo-se como lócus específico a obra da artista brasileira Lygia Clark para, em contraponto a ela, propor considerações renovadas a respeito da travessia da fantasia.

An essay about space and subject: Lygia Clark and psychoanalysis. The present essay defends the idea that the psychoanalytic reflection about the subject implies a consideration of space and its configuration as Freud's topical concern and Lacan's topological search already indicate. The displacement of the subject would thus be joined by a subversion of space, which has been culturally explored, throughout the 20th century, by works of modern and contemporary art. Therefore a dialogue with this body of work is sought; a dialogue which is specifically focused on the works of Brazilian artist Lygia Clark, so as to propose, as a counterpoint to such works, renewed considerations concerning the psychic work throughout fantasy.

Vai-se discorrer sobre a função que as intervenções humorísticas podem desempenhar no tratamento de psicóticos, ao apaziguar a incidência do pulsional e suscitar a tomada de palavra por aqueles cuja existência não é balizada pelo falo. Para tanto, partiu-se da referência ao "chiste", efeito humorístico freudiano por excelência. A hipótese que aqui se desenha é a de que as vicissitudes econômicas relacionadas ao chiste, mesmo em seus estágios preliminares, podem esclarecer se e como tais intervenções podem ser efetivas num tratamento possível da psicose.

The literal and the surprise: the preliminary stages of the wit. The target of this text is to explain in which way some humoristic interventions could help in the treatment of psychotic patients, pacifying the incidence of the "pulsional" and making the person, whose existence is not limited by the phallus, to start using speech. With this aim, our starting point was the mentioning of a "wit", or joke, the humoristic effect, which is Freudian by excellence. The hypothesis that we foresee is that the economic mishaps related to the wit, even on their preliminary stages, could clarify if and how such interventions could be effective in a possible treatment of psychosis.

Para além da significação fálica, fato de estrutura tanto para o sujeito masculino quanto para o sujeito feminino, Lacan aponta para um outro tipo de gozo: um gozo suplementar, o gozo do Outro, o gozo feminino, para além do falo. Do S1, significante do gozo fálico, que inscreve a lógica da significação fálica, tal como é demonstrado por meio da formulação do discurso do mestre, Lacan passa ao S (A) como forma de escritura da inexistência do Outro sexo e da conseqüente impossibilidade da relação sexual, tal como é comprovado na escrita da fórmula algébrica do discurso do analista.

From the phallic jouissance to the jouissance of the Other. Beyond phallic signification, structuring element for both the male subject and the female subject, Lacan points to another type of jouissance, a supplementary jouissance, the jouissance of the Other, the feminine jouissance, beyond the phallus. From the S1, signifier for the phallic jouissance, which inscribes the logic of the phallic signification, in so much as it is demonstrated through the formulation of the master's discourse, Lacan goes to S (A) as a means of writing the non-existence of the Other sex and of the consequent impossibility of the sexual relation, as can be proved through the writing of the algebraic formulae of the analyst's discourse.

Visando caracterizar a especificidade do funcionamento da linguagem na esquizofrenia, serão feitos mapeamento e análise de elementos teórico-clínicos encontrados em textos de Freud e Lacan. O fio condutor dessa investigação se baseará em noções freudianas de 1915 sobre "a palavra como coisa" e a "linguagem de órgão", bem como a concepção lacaniana de 1954 sobre "o simbólico como real" e a idéia dos anos 1970 sobre a exterioridade do esquizofrênico em relação ao laço social. Tais elementos serão exemplificados com vinhetas clínicas e o relato do esquizofrênico Louis Wolfson.

The mechanism of language in schizophrenia: a Lacanian study. In order to characterize what is specific about the way language operates in schizophrenia, mapping and analysis of theoretical-clinical elements found in Freud and Lacan's texts will be carried out. The line of thought in this research will follow Freud's notions from 1915 about "the word as a thing" and the "organ language", as well as Lacan's conception from 1954 about "the symbolic as real" and the idea from the 1970's about the outer world of the schizophrenic in relation to social bonding. Such elements will be exemplified through clinical vignettes and the report of Louis Wolfson, a schizophrenic.

A partir dos aportes teóricos de J. Lacan acerca da topologia borromeana na década de 1970, ressaltaremos alguns aspectos do caso do escritor James Joyce como introdução à discussão de um caso clínico de psicose. Trata-se do Profeta Gentileza. Tentaremos demonstrar as estratégias de estabilização adotadas por ele, a partir da 'missão' de pregação recebida como 'aviso astral'. Nessa análise, incluímos o trabalho sobre o significante, a invenção de sua escrita com grafia neológica, a nominação e seus efeitos sobre o gozo. Ensaiaremos uma discussão topológica do caso, demonstrando como a topologia borromeana pode contribuir para a abordagem psicanalítica da psicose.

Subject and invention: the Borromean topology in the clinical approach to psychosis. Based on J. Lacan's theoretical approach to Borromean topology in the seventies decade we emphasize some aspects of the case of James Joyce as an introduction to discuss a clinical case of psychosis known as "Profeta Gentileza". We propose to demonstrate his stabilization strategies which concern his preaching as a 'mission' received through an 'astral sign'. This analysis includes his work upon the signifier, with the creation of a neological writing, his naming as a prophet and its effects on the subject's jouissance. We also engage in a topological discussion about the case demonstrating how Borromean topology can be functional to psychoanalytical practice with psychosis.

Faz-se uma reflexão sobre a questão do sujeito na psicose, sustentando a hipótese da presença de sujeito nesta estrutura. É a partir da fala e do modo como esta é endereçada ao outro na clínica que podemos escutar e identificar o sujeito. Na medida que o sujeito é falante, sua relação com o outro não se fecha numa relação dual, já que inclui um terceiro, o grande Outro. É esta relação que nos oferece o caminho para investigar o que é específico do sujeito na psicose, o que é trabalhado por meio da análise de um fragmento clínico.

Remarks regarding the issue of the subject in psychosis. This article reflects on the issue of the subject in psychosis and supports the hypothesis that the subject exists as the principal element of the clinical session. Through speech and by analyzing how the subject orally communicates with others, we may listen to and discover the subject and, as the subject speaks, his relationship with another person is not restricted to a dual relationship, but rather, it includes a third party, the Other. It is the relationship between the subject and the Other that offers us a means to investigate the subject's particularities in psychosis; this is discussed through the analysis of a selected part of a clinical case.

Investiga-se a construção de um registro que representa o sujeito, a partir do ato de circulação da escrita no espaço público. Paulo 'despacha' no espaço público o que nomeia como "bombas de efeito moral". Suas bombas são feitas de imagens, letras e restos descartados no lixo como rótulos e embalagens. Trata-se de uma escrita que faz furo na representação, quebrando a unidade de sentido e revelando a materialidade da letra. Escrita que provoca um curto circuito na função mensageira da linguagem e faz borda nos discursos.

The scraping of the letter and the semblant's explosion. The aim of this article is the inquiry of the construction of a register that represents the subject, with a starting point at the circulation of the writing in the public space. Paulo "dispatches", in the public space, what he calls "moral bombs". His bombs are made of images, written characters and discarded material he finds in trash bins - such as labels and packages. This type of writing bores a hole in representation, breaking the unity of sense and revealing the materiality of the letter. This writing short-circuits the message function of language and remains in the margins of discourses.

Além da simpatia, da empatia, na origem da neurose de transferência, há um ponto central, ponto de antipatia, em que psicanalista e psicanalisando apreendem o real do corpo. Além do corpo psíquico, se entrevê o fundo das coisas: a carne em sofrimento que nunca é vista. Nesse momento do tratamento ouve-se a força de atração do recalcamento orgânico. O autor volta a um momento princeps da invenção freudiana: o sonho "da injeção de Irmã", para examinar sua hipótese de que o trabalho do sonho revela uma das funções do psíquico - afastar a sugestão do somático.

First transference: des-suggesting the somatic. In the origin of transference neurosis, beyond sympathy and empathy, we can meet an umbilical point, which is an antipathy point where patient and analyst encounter the real of the body. Beyond the psychic body, we can see "the bottom of things": the suffering flesh, which is never seen. This moment of cure is the one where can be heard the strength of attraction from the organic repression. In order to explore this hypothesis, the author goes back to a moment of Freudian finding: the dream of Irma. He suggests that the work of the dream shows a function of the psychic, which is the desuggestion of somatic.
