Resumo: Depois da Ocultação, aquele momento em que o messias xiita desapareceu, o xiismo se dividiu em duas tendências: a tradicional-quietista e a racionalista-política. Essas duas tendências coexistiram durante séculos; só muito recentemente seu equilíbrio foi inclinado para o lado racionalista-político, o que provocou (principalmente) a revolução Khomeinista no Irã. Este artigo procura explorar o modo do vínculo social no Islã xiita a partir de uma perspectiva psicanalítica, em termos de suas práticas místicas originais, bem como das consequências políticas e religiosas do declínio do discurso tradicionalista e da emergência política da figura do “jurista-teólogo”, com seu corolário, o Adversário.

ABSTRACT: After the Occultation, the moment when the shiites’ messiah disappeared, Shiism broke into two tendencies: the traditional-quietist and the rationalist-political. These two tendencies coexisted for centuries; only quite recently has their balance tilted towards the rationalist-political side, which brought about (principally) the Khomeini revolution in Iran. This article seeks to explore the mode of the social ties in Shia Islam from a psychoanalytic perspective, in terms of its original mystical practices as well as of the political and religious consequences of the decline of traditionalist discourse and the political emergence of “jurist-theologian” with its corollary, the Adversary.

Resumo: Este artigo demonstra como o universal produz segregação. Identifica o que é comum ao judeu, à mulher e ao psicanalista, a partir da fórmula universal definida por Lacan como “tudo” [tout]. O judeu é abordado no modelo de análise do processo de segregação. Este artigo aborda o “não todo” [past-tout], conceito criado por Lacan, que designa o ilimitado como forma de resposta à segregação. O método consiste em estudar os textos de Freud e Lacan sobre identificação, racismo e segregação. Abordar o conceito de segregação pelo universal e pela identificação significa levar em conta a realidade do gozo único e singular de cada sujeito.

ABSTRACT: This article demonstrates how the universal produces segregation. It identifies what is common to the Jew, to the woman and the psychoanalyst from the universal formula defined by Lacan as “all” [tout]. Here the Jew is caught up in the model of analysis of the process of segregation. This article approaches the “not-all” [past-tout], a concept invented by Lacan, which designates the unlimited as a mode of response to segregation. The method chosen here consists of studying the texts by both Freud and Lacan on identification, racism and segregation. Approaching the concept of segregation through the universal and identification means taking into account the reality of the unique and singular jouissance of each subject.

RESUMO: Este artigo versa sobre as relações entre o sistema de escrita chinês e a instância da letra no inconsciente. Para isso, revisamos teoricamente uma rede de conceitos imbricados que suportam essa questão na Linguística, com Saussure e Peirce, e na Psicanálise lacaniana: escrita, letra, signo e significante, lidos a partir da experiência de aprendizado do Mandarim e de recortes clínicos de situação de análise. Tal percurso nos apontou que, ao escutar um sujeito em análise, além da escuta de seus significantes, devemos nos atentar à dimensão do que é letra, inclusive na sua dimensão visual, para então, quiçá, transpor algo disso para o simbólico.

Abstract: This article discusses the relation between the Chinese writing system and the instance of the letter in the unconscious. We review theoretically a network of interwoven concepts that support this issue in Saussure and Lacan: writing, signifier and letter rethought from the learning experience of Mandarin and from clinical clippings of analysis situation. This way showed us that while listening to a subject in analysis, in addition to listening to its significant, we must be aware of the dimension of what the letter is, including its visual dimension, so then, perhaps, transpose something from it to the symbolic.

RESUMO: Este artigo visa abordar as diversas nuances da metáfora no pensamento de Lacan nos anos 50. Nosso ponto de partida serão os trabalhos do linguista Roman Jakobson sobre as afasias, a partir dos quais ele postula a metáfora e a metonímia como elementos linguísticos fundamentais. Claramente influenciado por Jakobson, Lacan constrói noção de metáfora paterna sobre a qual se sustenta a hipótese da foraclusão do Nome-do-Pai como sua teoria das psicoses. A partir desses pontos, analisaremos as diferenças estruturais entre neurose e psicose no que tange às consequências da metáfora paterna no nível do significante, da fala e da falta.

Abstract: This article aims to approach the various nuances of the metaphor in Jacques Lacan’s thought in the 1950s. Our starting point will be the works of linguist Roman Jakobson about the aphasias, from which he postulates metaphor and metonymy as fundamental linguistic elements. Clearly influenced by Jakobson, Lacan constructs the notion of paternal metaphor on which he build the hypothesis of the foreclosure of the Name-of-the-Father as his theory of psychoses. From these points, we will analyze the structural differences between neurosis and psychosis in terms of the consequences of the paternal metaphor in the level of the signifier, speech and lack.

Resumo: O presente ensaio trata de pensar uma subjetividade literária e, com ela, uma via clínica propícia ao entendimento do conceito de sublime-ação, assim grafado devido à renovação de seu uso. Considera a obra e, em certo sentido, a vida do escritor Wilson Bueno, extraindo de seu entrelaçamento consequências analíticas que trazem, a um mesmo plano de exame, as noções de sublime-ação e sinthoma, esta última tal como é concebida por Lacan. Serão ainda empregados conceitos deleuzianos, nietzschianos e bergsonianos que devem oferecer perspectivas éticas e clínicas de inesperado alcance ao saber analítico.

Abstract: This essay deals with thinking about a literary subjectivity and, with it, a clinical way conducive to understanding the concept of sublime-action, thus spelled due to the renewal of its use. It considers the work and, in a sense, the life of the writer Wilson Bueno, drawing from its intertwining analytical consequences that bring to the same plane of examination the notions of sublime-action and synthoma, the latter as conceived by Lacan. Deleuzian, Nietzschean, and Bergsonian concepts that should offer ethical and clinical perspectives of unexpected scope to analytical knowledge will also be employed.

RESUMO: Compreende-se a Psicanálise enquanto método, técnica e um conjunto de teorias aplicadas no estudo dos processos inconscientes. Entretanto, não é raro constatarmos, em alguns contextos como na Academia, ou mesmo na comunidade analítica, o destaque atribuído à Psicanálise, ora como um tratamento psicanalítico, restringindo-a a uma prática terapêutica, ora identificado à sua teoria. Desse modo, objetiva-se nesse artigo enfatizar o potencial investigativo da Psicanálise através de seu método. Este, diferente do que alguns analistas acreditam, pode ser desenvolvido para além da clínica padrão, como temos acompanhado através das pesquisas acadêmicas.

Abstract: Psychoanalysis is understood as method, technique and a set of applied theories in the study of the unconscious processes. However, it is not uncommon to note, in some contexts such as the Academy, or even in the analytical community, the emphasis attributed to Psychoanalysis, sometimes as a psychoanalytic treatment, restricting it to a therapeutic practice, or as identified to its theory. In this article it is emphasized the investigative potential of Psychoanalysis through its method. This, unlike some analysts believe, can be developed beyond the standard clinical, as we have followed through academic research.

RESUMO: A partir do estudo de manuais estatísticos para transtornos mentais, apontamos efeitos problemáticos em sua estruturação. Segundo nossa hipótese, o amplo uso dos manuais estatísticos por práticas clínicas teria por fundamento a inserção do realismo ingênuo na forma de investigação, tanto teórico quanto clínico, e a ausência de considerações ontológicas que indiquem o tipo de interatividade entre sujeito e outro, efetivando também o efeito looping com o diagnóstico classificatório. Como resultado, propomos que o afastamento de uma consideração à ontologia implica na construção de modelos clínicos que perdem seu espaço transformativo, ao centrarem-se nas figuras da observação e da descrição.

Abstract: Based on the study of mental disorders manuals, we highlight problematic outcomes of the way they are structured. According to our hypothesis, their wide use (in clinical practice) is founded upon the insertion of a naïve realism into the investigation (both theoretical and clinical) - and also on the absence of further ontological considerations (which would indicate the kind of interactivity between subject and the other). This generates a looping effect regarding classificatory diagnosis. Thus, we propose that the lack of taking ontology into consideration implies the construction of clinical models that lose their transformative space, by focusing on observation and description.

RESUMO: A inscrição do significante do Nome-do-Pai subordina a sexualidade infantil à função fálica. Ela permite ao sujeito inscrever-se em uma relação gerida pelo gozo e optar por uma identificação sexuada. Ora, a sexualidade genital na adolescência pode, ao contrário, reatualizar a forclusão do nome e do falo, cujo manejo é necessário ao engajamento do corpo na relação com o outro. A clínica nos ensina que o sujeito pode se autorizar alguns artifícios como a religião ou a prostituição, isto é, um saber fazer, que lhe permite prescindir-se do pai à condição de se servir dele. Por vezes, também, a fobia como forma de questionar o nome é capaz de ser superada.

Abstract: Inscription of the significant feature of the Name-of-the-Father subordinates infantile sexuality to the phallic function. It allows the subject to develop a gendered relationship to enjoyment and to opt for a sexual identification. On the contrary, genital sexuality in adolescence can update the foreclosure of the name and phallus whose utilization is necessary for the engagement of the body in the relationship with the partner. Clinical practice teaches us that the subject can authorize himself artifices like religion or prostitution, that is to say some know-how to proceed without the father while using it. Sometimes, too, the phobia of name testing is capable of being overcome.

RESUMO: Em Totem e tabu, Freud faz menção a um pai mítico - Urvater - ideia simbólica de um homem originário que pode ser inferido como um pressuposto mítico desde o qual será proposto um modelo de homem. Frente a isso, questionamo-nos: quais seriam os pressupostos “mitológicos” da psicanálise desde os quais se tornou admissível pensar a mulher freudiana? Objetivamos identificar, na obra de Freud, se a mitologia serviu como recurso de proposição do modelo feminino. Assim, problematizamos o recurso freudiano inicial de pensar a sexualidade feminina como modelo oposto incontornável da sexualidade masculina.

Abstract: In Totem and Taboo, Freud mentions a mythical father - Urvater - a symbolic idea of an original man that can be inferred as a mythical presupposition from which a model of man will be proposed. In the face of this, we ask ourselves: what are the “mythological” presuppositions of psychoanalysis from which the Freudian woman has become admissible? We aim to identify, in Freud’s work, whether mythology served as a resource for proposing the female model. Thus, we discuss the initial Freudian recourse to think of female sexuality as the inescapable opposite model of male sexuality.

RESUMO: Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar os impasses em relação à função do recurso à substância na psicose. As contribuições da clínica nodal e da clínica das psicoses ordinárias permitem ressituar a investigação da função do recurso à substância na psicose na economia de gozo de cada sujeito em função dos enlaces, desenlaces e reenlaces em relação ao Outro. Para além da função estabilizadora do recurso à substância, via identificação imaginária ao significante “sou toxicômano”, fragmentos de casos clínicos evidenciam que o recurso à substância na psicose pode promover um desenlace em relação ao Outro, reforçar a foraclusão, promover efeitos devastadores no corpo ou, ainda, funcionar como um dos nomes do pior.

Abstract: This article aims to present the impasses regarding the function of the recourse to the substance in the psychosis. The contributions of the nodal clinic and the clinic of ordinary psychoses allow us to resituate the investigation of the function of the recourse to the substance in the psychosis in the economy of enjoyment of each subject in function of the links, disconnections and re-links in relation to the Other. In addition to the stabilizing function of substance use, via the imaginary identification of the signifier “I am a drug addict”, fragments of clinical cases show that recourse to the substance in psychosis can promote a disconnection in relation to the Other, promotes devastating effects on the body or even function as one of the worst names.

RESUMO: A partir de questões suscitadas pela clínica da recepção em um ambulatório público de saúde mental, investigamos o manejo clínico da urgência subjetiva. Tendo em vista a recorrência do sofrimento psíquico relacionado à angústia e a manifestações ligadas ao ato, revisamos o lugar da angústia em psicanálise e sua relação com o acting out e a passagem ao ato. Verificamos como o psicanalista pode acolher a urgência subjetiva, permitindo que este momento de crise dê lugar ao trabalho psíquico e possibilite uma subjetivação do sofrimento.

Abstract: From issues raised by the reception clinic in a public mental health clinic, we investigated the clinical management of subjective urgency. In view of the recurrence of psychic suffering related to the anguish and manifestations associated with the act, we review the place of anguish in psychoanalysis and its relation to the acting out and the passage to the act. We verify how the psychoanalyst can take on the subjective urgency, allowing this moment of crisis to give way to psychic work and enable a subjectivation of suffering.

RESUMO: Este trabalho investiga a escuta da família face ao diagnóstico de autismo da criança. Realizou-se a construção de caso clínico de uma família composta pelo casal parental, o filho adolescente, e Ícaro, três anos de idade, diagnosticado com autismo. A discussão do caso é ancorada nas premissas teóricas da clínica de família e enfatiza o tom afetivo melancólico que se estabelece em uma relação particular com o diagnóstico. A escuta do grupo familiar permitiu acessar a função psíquica que o diagnóstico pôde assumir à medida que passou a servir de barreira defensiva ao sofrimento e ao desamparo frente às perdas vivenciadas pela família.

Abstract: This work investigates a psychoanalytic listening of the family of children diagnosed with autism. The article presents the theoretical premises of the family clinic, followed by the clinical case and the case discussion. It is a family composed of the parental couple, the teenage son, and Ícaro, three years old, diagnosed with autism. The family experienced many losses, presenting a melancholic affective tone and establishing a particular relationship with the diagnoses. The psychoanalytic listening allows us to access the possible psychic function that the diagnosis can assume, in this specific case, a defensive barrier to suffering the losses experienced by the family.

RESUMO: Este artigo traz considerações sobre um obstáculo identificado no trabalho clínico com pacientes internados em hospital geral: o manejo protocolar da transferência, que torna a escuta ruidosa e inviabiliza o manejo de conteúdos inconscientes. Delineamos o trabalho no hospital e seu cotidiano, definindo o campo psicanalítico de atuação. Norteados por uma vinheta clínica, discutimos dificuldades próprias do cotidiano hospitalar que imporiam impasses na prática. Concluímos que a escuta psicanalítica independe do contexto, estando atrelada à disposição e formação do praticante. É necessária, portanto, interrogação constante da prática - na supervisão e análise pessoal - para suspender pressuposições pessoais acerca do caso.

Abstract: The present article aims to make considerations about an obstacle that was presented during the clinical psychoanalytic work undertaken with patients admitted to a general hospital: the protocolled handling of the transference. The scope of work of the hospital environment and its daily routine was circumscribed, and thus the psychoanalytic field was outlined. Through a clinical vignette, difficulties that are unique to the hospital’s daily routine and which may result in deadlocks to clinical work were discussed. We conclude that maintaining a psychoanalytic mode of listening does not depend on the context, being intimately related to the psychoanalyst’s personal trajectory and studies. As such, a constant interrogation of one’s practice, through supervision and personal analysis, is necessary so as to suspend any assumptions regarding the case.
