Este artigo tem o objetivo de refletir sobre o diálogo no limiar, um gênero nascido do diálogo socrático, e a diatribe, um gênero retórico interno dialogado, compreendidos ambos os fenômenos, neste estudo, como instrumentos privilegiados para a construção da autoconsciência do protagonista de Uma criatura dócil, novela de Dostoiévski. Tencionamos examinar, na materialidade do texto, o partejar das ideias desenvolvido pelo diálogo no limiar no momento da crise existencial vivida pela personagem-narrador e os expedientes da diatribe que provocam a experimentação filosófico-dialógica que esse sujeito assume ao constituir a sua voz.Resumo em Inglês:
This paper is about the dialogue on the threshold whose origins are in the Socratic dialogue and the diatribe (a dialogued internal gender), both understood as privileged mechanisms in the construction of the main character of Dostoevski's novel Uma criatura dócil [The Meek One]. Its aim is to discuss the materiality of the text - mainly the dialogue on the threshold when the main character is in its existential crisis - and the mechanism of the diatribe which provoke the philosophical dialogue experience that the individual assumes while constituting his voice.Resumo em Português:
São examinadas diferentes situações de discurso onde se identificam marcas de transformações históricas da nossa sociedade: na incongruência entre entonação e sentido, na ausência de elo e de sequência na interlocução e na indiferenciação entre posições enunciativas. Tais transformações apontam para uma nova forma de poder designada como totalitária não-autoritária que opera através do apagamento da singularidade do sujeito e da promoção de uma memória indiferente. A abordagem construída para o exame e a interpretação das referidas situações baseia-se na análise dialógica do discurso e na teoria enunciativa, completadas por conceitos da filosofia contemporânea.Resumo em Inglês:
We examine different discourse situations in which we identify marks of historical transformations of our society: in the incongruity between intonation and meaning, in the absence of link and sequence in the dialogue and in the indifferentiation between enunciative positions. Such transformations point to a new form of power designated as totalitarian non-authoritarian, which operates through the erasure of the singularity of the subject and the promotion of an indifferent memory. The approach built for the examination and interpretation of those situations is based on dialogic discourse analysis and on the enunciative theory, supplemented by concepts of contemporary philosophy.Resumo em Português:
Neste texto, abordamos alguns aspectos envolvidos no ensino-aprendizagem de leitura, em particular a formação para o letramento visual. Procuramos observar o trabalho desenvolvido com os gêneros que aliam as linguagens verbal e visual, presentes nas atividades de leitura de duas coletâneas de livros didáticos de Língua Portuguesa do Ensino Médio. Nosso objetivo foi compreender em que medida as atividades colaboram para o desenvolvimento de capacidades leitoras requeridas para as especificidades desses gêneros. Para tal, recorremos aos pressupostos enunciativo-discursivos de abordagem sócio-histórica do Círculo de Bakhtin, aliados a fundamentos da Semiótica Social para a compreensão da multimodalidade. A análise dos dados revelou que a incidência dos gêneros multimodais nas duas coletâneas estudadas é pouco representativa. O tratamento didático em atividades de leitura não favorece a mobilização de capacidades leitoras específicas para esses gêneros e pouco contribui para a formação do letramento visual dos alunos.Resumo em Inglês:
In this paper, we discuss some issues involved in teaching and learning reading, especially schooling in visual literacy. We seek to observe the work developed with genres that combine verbal and visual languages, found in the reading activities of two high school textbook series for Portuguese language teaching. Our goal was to understand to what extent these activities contribute towards the development of reading skills needed to deal with the specificities of these genres. Therefore, we used the enunciative and discursive assumptions of the socio-historical approach of Bakhtin Circle, as well as the Social Semiotics perspective to understand multimodality. Data analysis revealed that the incidence of multimodal genres studied in the two textbook series is hardly representative. The didactic treatment these genres receive in reading activities does not favor the mobilization of specific reading skills and contributes little to students' visual literacy schooling.Resumo em Português:
Partindo da hipótese de que as reflexões propostas por Bakhtin e pelo Círculo podem ajudar-nos a refletir sobre as questões que se colocam no campo da Aquisição da Linguagem, e considerando que há poucos registros no Brasil de trabalhos desenvolvidos dentro dessa perspectiva, pretendemos, neste artigo, ao pensar a constituição da criança na linguagem, no período de aquisição, discutir as noções de "sujeito", "subjetividade", "individualidade" e "singularidade". A fim de visualizar melhor essa discussão, traremos os dados de fala de crianças pequenas, entre 1;8 e 3 anos, filmadas em contextos naturais de interação com pais e familiares. Com base neles, pudemos verificar, entre outras questões, que a criança, sujeito que se constitui na e pela língua(gem), imprime em suas produções marcas que revelam sua subjetividade (seja por escolhas lexicais, morfológicas, sintáticas, de gênero etc.).Resumo em Inglês:
Considering the hypothesis that Bakhtin and his Circle's reflections can help us think about issues involving the field of Language Acquisition, in addition to the fact that there are only a few works developed within this perspective in Brazil, in this article, we intend to discuss the notions of "subject", "subjectivity", "individuality" and "singularity", drawing on Bakhtin's theory. Thus, in order to make this discussion clearer, we bring data from the speech of young children, from 1.8 to 3 years old, who were filmed in natural contexts interacting with their parents and relatives. From these data, we could verify, among other things, that children, as individuals who constitute themselves as subjects in and through language, bring marks to their discourse, revealing their subjectivity (through lexical, morphological, syntactic or genre choices).Resumo em Português:
Procurando a experiência do encontro entre uma estilística discursiva e o pensamento de Bakhtin e do Círculo, investigaremos procedimentos que respaldam a emergência do estilo de um gênero do discurso religioso, a hagiografia. A partir do lugar teórico e metodológico oferecido pelos estudos do discurso, estaremos então subsidiados pelo pensamento bakhtiniano, em especial quanto à noção de exotopia, a qual coloca o autor como um correlato do "herói". Assim pretendemos problematizar o conceito de estilo do gênero. Estabilidades fundadas em movimentos reguladores de determinada arquitetônica genérica radicarão uma totalidade discursiva, aberta, porém, à contingência e à eventicidade do ato de enunciar.Resumo em Inglês:
In the search for the encounter between discursive stylistics and the thinking of Bakhtin and the Circle, we investigate procedures that support the emergence of a style of the genre of religious discourse, hagiography. Beginning with the theoretical and methodological studies of discourse studies, we then use Bakhtinian thinking, especially regarding the notion of outsideness, which places the author as a correlate of the "hero." We thus intend to discuss the concept of genre style. Stabilities based on regulating movements of specific architectonics of genre will result in a discursive totality, which is open, however, to contingency and the eventness of the act of utterance.Resumo em Português:

This paper aims at establishing a dialogue between Vygotsky and Bakhtin, using Vygotsky's concepts associated with the zone of immediate development and Bakhtin's concepts related to dialogism as theoretical parameters. Este texto aborda, com base na teoria de Mikhail Bakhtin, questões relativas à especificidade do conhecimento produzido pelas ciências humanas e suas implicações para a tarefa do pesquisador. O objetivo é discutir momentos constitutivos do ato de pesquisar: o encontro do pesquisador e seu outro, durante o desenvolvimento da pesquisa de campo, e o compromisso que ele assume, posteriormente, com a escrita do texto, buscando dar forma e conteúdo, através da criação de conceitos, à realidade pesquisada. This text approaches, based on the theoretical work of Mikhail Bakhtin, questions related to the specificity of the knowledge produced by Human Sciences and their implications for the researcher's task. The text aims at discussing the constitutive moments of the act of researching, that is: the encounter between the researcher and his other, during the development of the field research, and the obligation which the researcher assumes later on, by writing his paper, in order to give form and content, through the creation of concepts, to the researched reality. In each one of these moments, what is pointed out is the ethical obligation of the researcher in the production of solid human understanding in the act of researching.Resumo em Português:
Para uma filosofia do ato, ensaio fragmentado e inacabado de Mikhail Bakhtin, é um dos textos da década de 1920 que melhor permitem entrever o sutil e complexo diálogo que o filósofo russo estabelece com o campo filosófico de seu tempo, através, sobretudo, de uma empolgante virada interpretativa do legado kantiano. Toward a Philosophy of the Act, a fragmented and unfinished essay written by Mikhail Bakhtin, is one of the texts of the 1920s that better let us glimpse the subtle and complex dialogue established by the Russian philosopher with the philosophical field of his time, in particular through an exciting interpretive turn in Kant's legacy. This paper seeks to discuss how the concept of an apartness between the world of life and the world of culture and the problems of both the attributes of Being and the open eventness of the responsible act are instrumentalized in a way that allows this philosophical turn, setting what accounts for Bakhtin's first great contribution to occidental thinking.Resumo em Português:

Proponho a consideração do grotesco tanto como gênero discursivo, atitude e prática cultural, quanto como um ponto de partida que nos permite comentar mais amplamente a obra de Bakhtin relativa a Rabelais e seu significado para as discussões atuais referentes à subjetividade. No carnaval, o épico reverbera a memória ilimitada "das perturbações cósmicas passadas", enquanto o romanesco vive na flutuação grotesca e remoção de distâncias e, por meio do riso, na celebração irreverente e alegre da resiliência. Assim como o épico, o carnaval relaciona-se com a manutenção de práticas tradicionais, porém isso ocorre de forma "romanesca", aberta e indulgentemente incerta. O livro sobre Rabelais parece ser o ponto em que, ao reconciliar e sintetizar a cultura e a vida em atos do corpo humano, ao retrabalhar e redesenhar as barreiras de tabus culturais e ao defender uma simbiose entre o épico e o romanesco, Bakhtin advoga uma nova percepção da tradição inscrita na irreverente vida da cultura do povo (comunidade). Essa celebração das pessoas reabre a incômoda questão a respeito das implicações políticas dos pronunciamentos de Bakhtin sobre o épico e o romanesco, a cultura comunitária e a individual, e a desejada síntese entre eles. I propose to take the grotesque, both as a discursive genre and a cultural attitude and practice, as a point of departure that allows us to comment more widely on Bakhtin's Rabelais book and its significance for current debates on subjectivity. In carnival, the epic reverberates in humanity's boundless memory "of cosmic perturbations in the distant past," while the novelistic lives in the grotesque fluctuation and removal of distance, and in the irreverent and joyful celebration of resilience through laughter. Like the epic, carnival is about the maintaining of traditional practices, but in an open and charitably insecure, "novelistic" way. The book on Rabelais seems to be the point where, on reconciling and synthesizing culture and life in the acts of the human body, reworking and redrawing the boundaries of cultural taboos, and championing a symbiosis between the epic and the novelistic, Bakhtin sponsors a new sense of tradition inscribed in the irreverent life of folk (community) culture. This celebration of the people re-opens the vexing question about the political implications of Bakhtin's pronouncements on the epic and the novelistic, on communitarian and individual culture, and on their desired synthesis. But it also enables us to locate Bakhtin's style of thinking and his specific brand of decentred, indeed dislocated, humanism.
