Open-access Taxonomic study of Psephenidae (Coleoptera: Byrrhoidea) from Brazilian Amazon basin

    Five species of the family Psephenidae belonging to genus Pheneps are repported from the Brazilian Amazon Basin for first time. P. cursitatus Spangler; P. auariensis sp.nov.; P. leptophallus sp.nov.; P. roraimensis sp.nov. and P. simoides sp.nov. Illustrations for adults and larvae are provided and new geographic records are given.
