Summary
With the help of physico-chemical methods, columnchromatography (CC), thin layer chromatography (TLC), infrared (IR), ultraviolet (UV) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, rotenone (28,5%) and dehydrorotenone were found in one species of "Timbó" collected in the município of Lábrea, Amazonas.
