Summary

In this paper, a contribution to the dendrological knowledge of the Amazonian species of the family Leguminosae is given by the authors, by including botanical description, geographical distribution, habitat and anatomical description of wood of the following species: Swartzia ulei, S. recurva and S. laevicarpa. 9 illustrations of the woods described are included in this paper.
