A phytosociological survey was undertaken during October-November 1984, on a "open grassland" area under grazing. The qualitative survey of 16 quadrats has yelded 28 botanical families, 76 genera and 112 species with relevance to the Gramineae (27 species), Compositae (25 species), Rubiaceae (9 species), Cyperaceae (8 species), Leguminosae (7 species) and Umbelliferae (5 species). For the quantitative survey, presence, absolute frequency, relative frequency, relative coverage and relative importance were evaluated.
