From the trauma to the psychosomatic phenomenon (PSP) - dealing with the meaningless? The hypothesis of the author is that trauma provokes an invasion of the Real that can be stopped by the PSP. Because of that, it becomes the condensation point of jouissance. The text starts taking a look about the body and the diseases in a psychoanalytical approach. It gives a short revision of the trauma’s theory in Freud and Lacan Works, emphasizing its importance for the occurrence of the lesion. An articulation of the PSP with the theory of the significant and the jouissance is proposed. At last, the author considers the hypothesis that PSP can be a patch in the puncture caused by trauma on the fantasy screen or in the delirium.
