DIVERSITY OF PARASITOID FAMILIES (INSECTA: HYMENOPTERA) COLLECTED BY MALAISE TRAPS IN THE NATIVE FOREST OF LUZ, STATE OF MINAS GERAIS, BRAZIL

ABSTRACT

The aim of this work was to assay the hymenopterous parasitoid families (Insecta: Hymenoptera), collected by Malaise traps in native forest of Luz, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. From September of 2003 to March 2004, collection was made of 1,131 specimens, belonging to 21 families. Ichneumonidae and Encyrtidae were the most common families, with 42.00% and 25.29% specimens collected, respectively.
