Abstract
I present here the translation to Portuguese of the poems "Nuevas palabras” by the Argentinian poet Santiago Sylvester, and "Sincuentiún" by the Uruguayan poet Fabián Severo. Despite responding to creative proposals of different material tenor, both poems show the incessant resignification of memory, language and lyric subject in spaces and experiences marked by displacements and borders. It is also included an introductory text with information about each poet´s work and with brief critical considerations.
