Abstract
The article proposes to read some writing strategies of the Spanish translation of Manèges. Petite histoire argentine by Laura Alcoba (2007), considering this translation as a textual intervention that aims to revert the narrative and identity aspects based on the French language constructed by this novel. For this goal, the article stress its translator, the roman writer Leopoldo Brizuela, and focus the different ways in which his translation, La casa de los Conejos (2008), works on the representation of a childhood besieged by the memoire of the State terrorism during the last dictatorship in Argentina.
