Abstract
This work seeks to investigate the ways in which a territory is invented under the figuration of a country. In this sense, we explore the procedures that Sarmiento deploys in his invention of the Argentine Paraná Delta and the deviations proposed by the poetics of J. L Ortiz and Madariaga with respect to the founding stories of the s. XIX. In order to carry it out, the theoretical proposals of Derrida, Virno and F. Rodríguez are summoned.
