Heteronymic dandyism is a poetics

Abstract

Heteronyms are a poetic way to break with the modern myth of an indivisible and one self. The poetics of heteronymic dandyism finds in the multiplication of itself a poetry in democratic dialogue with the world, far removed from the hierarchical relationships that aim to judge right and wrong. In order to think of a heteronymic self, no longer closed in on itself, but porous and open to different ways of pretending to understand the world, it is necessary to draw on vitalist thinkers such as Karl Marx, Friedrich Nietzsche, Henri Bergson, Vladimir Safatle, added to heteronymic sensationalist philosophy, which unites the body and thought through a restless, anarchic discourse, which is not looking for harmony, but a radical, modernist position of looking at life.

Keywords:
dandyism; heteronymy; Fernando Pessoa; flânerie
