INTELLECTUAL COMPOSITION AS A RESULT OF MOBILIZED REPERTOIRES: THE TOBIAS BARRETO’S CASE

Abstract

This article pursues to reveal, through the jurist Tobias Barreto de Menezes (1839-1889) case, how the intellectual composes through mobilized repertoires. For this purpose, the repertoire concept by Charles Tilly was appropriated and reworked, in order to attend the intellectual action. Therefore, the proposal was to attempt for the conceived intellectual repertoires as the way as ideas and/or practical are associates in function of a cause, which its driving force lies on the exercise of problematization. The idea of intellectual repertoire also includes the subject of the action profile and the idea mobilized.
