Description of a clinical observation of young patient who suffered (after only one childbirth) a castration and showed accentuated obesity and decreasing (or even disappearance) of libido which caused grave psychosexual complications. An examination by the Rorschach psychodiagnostic method enabled the physician to understand the patient and give a clear explanation. Thus an orthopsychological attitude could be assumed, to reduce her moral sufferings. The value of the Rorschach test is discussed as means of approaching reticent individuals, and also the meaning to be given to certain data obtained by this projective psychology test.
