Treatment with sulpiride was carried out either orally or intramusculary in a group of 39 patients suffering from a variety of psychiatric conditions. Duration of treatment ranged between 20 and 90 days of hos- pitalization and dose administered was 1200 mg/day. Secondary reactions were minimal and no effects were observed on the blood crasis. The clinical results showed a satisfactory effect over anxiety, reactive disjunction and over certain types of delirious and hallucinatory activities.
