OBJECTIVE: To analyze the interface of ethic in the construction of a technological concept. METHODS: This is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, developed by means of analyzing a data bank. After gathering the data, were categorized and analyzed according to the theoretical content analysis; two categories emerged: ethics and the use of technology in nursing, and, ethical care and the technology of nursing. RESULTS: Through reflection and considering the humane needs and professional practice, the study highlighted the importance of evaluating and the deciding which technology incorporate into care. CONCLUSION: Was learned that the interface between ethics and technology in nursing is established during professional action and through the act of care.
