This paper examines the definition that the craft fishermen of Suape beach (PE) carry on their work, categorizing it as beautiful. Beauty is associated with the fishing work done with perfection, autonomously and pleasantly. That is reflected in the ways of the sea humanization and in the livelihoods of the fishermen themselves, thereby producing a maritime fishing aesthetics.
