Abstract
In times of water crisis, equitable water management is essential to guarantee access to all population groups. The water crisis experienced in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo between 2014 and 2016 revealed, in addition to conflicts over the use of this resource, the risks that socio-environmentally vulnerable populations are exposed to when there is a period of drought. This study aimed to verify whether the water management process in the city of São Paulo resulted in situations of water injustice during the period of water supply crisis. This is a case study with statistical analysis of data collected through questionnaires. The data were processed using the IBM SPSS® software, and the results were presented in graphs. Analysis of the graphs allowed us to understand the impact on the users of the crisis management carried out by Sabesp.
