This work presents relative constructions in Xipaya and the strategies used in building such constructions. It is observed that relativization is marked by the morpheme jahã, and, with much lower productivity, by juxtaposition. The relative constructions that are grammatically marked may occur with or without a modified head, and in both cases it is possible for the construction to occur embedded or not in the matrix clause.
