EDITORIAL NOTE

The final decision for publication of papers in the Brazilian Journal of Biology is the responsibility of the Editorial Board based on the reviews given by the referees. The Editorial Board strongly recommends that all authors submit their papers to the Brazilian Journal of Biology after a revision by a native English speaker, preferably with experience in correcting scientific text.
