EDITORIAL NOTE

The Brazilian Journal of Biology is going through a re-organization process. This explains some delays in the publication of recent numbers (November - 2013, February - 2014 and May - 2014). We are speeding up publication and we expect to be normalised by the August number. Initiatives to reduce the time of publication of accepted papers are in progress. The quality of submitted papers and published papers is always rising as a very important consequence of our high quality-control Editorial Policy.
