Candida species are an uncommon cause of meninigitis. Given the rarity of this infection, the epidemiology, prognosis, and optimal therapy for Candida meningitis are poorly defined. The authors report on a paraplegic patient due to spinal cord injury who developed C. tropicalis meningitis.
