SUMMARY
Three Rhizobium sp. strains were utilized for a field study of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) inoculation by the common and pelleting process. Mechanically and hand shelled seeds were utilized in this study.
There was no influence of common or pelleting inoculation on nodulation and seed production of peanut plants, as compared to natural nodulation. Natural nodulation was satisfactory.
Manual, as compared to mechanically shelled seeds, germinated better. Pelleted seeds gave better germination than non pelleted seeds.
