This work is addressed to study and to discuss two of the main methods to solve the network cost allocation to generators and demands. The Nodal method, that is based on power flow sensitivity with relation to power injected, and the method based on Zbus network matrix, are presented and discussed. Results, analysis and conclusions are done, initially, with a 4-bus system, that allows a better interpretation of the method behaviors. In addition, results are taken from other two systems: the IEEE 24-bus and the IEEE 30-bus system are done.
