Open-access PRECARIZATION OF TEMPORARY TEACHERS IN BASIC EDUCATION: A BIBLIOGRAPHIC REVIEW

ABSTRACT

This article presents the results of a comprehensive bibliographic review on the history of academic production concerning temporary teachers in Brazil, conducted as part of a doctoral research project developed between 2018 and 2022. The sources used for this review included the Thesis and Dissertation Database of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), the Brazilian Journal of Education, the Brazilian Journal of Politics and Administration of Education, the Journal of Educational Funding, and the Education & Society Journal, in addition to selected academic event proceedings. The methodological aspects that underpinned the bibliographic review are presented, along with a summary of the findings on the effects of the precarization of teaching in basic education.
