Special education in the perspective of inclusive education in the municipality of Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil

In this article, we present how the national policies to Special Education, in the perspective of Inclusive Education, have been signified in the municipality of Boa Vista in the period from 2006 to 2016 as well as the practices resulting from these policies. The study is developed through documentary analysis, based on municipal legal norms, reports of the special education management body and reports of teachers who work in Multifunctional Resource Rooms. We have identified that the focus of special education concentrates on Multifunctional Resource Rooms.
